Availability
Kathryn stays at home while Cliff is a realtor and is almost always home as well. Our oldest daughter lives at home and does pet sitting outside our home, our son just graduated from college and works full time from home while our youngest goes to high school. So someone is always home to be with our visiting dogs!

We have a good size backyard (with patio and grass) that is fenced in and we have a baby gate so all our dogs stay in the the family room/kitchen area (where we all hang out) and the front door is located on the other side of the baby gate so we don't get an escapee. All dogs are welcome to bring there own beds and/ or blanket or use ours (some just like to sleep on our couch (with one of us).

Does your dog has any special needs and how's their temperament (we can not accept aggressive dogs). We have no breed preference (we love them all)! Please note we no longer except dogs under the age of 1 in our home or dogs over 40 lbs.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will go on at least 2 walks a day, in our surrounding neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Depends on the dog (and what you prefer). All dogs sleep inside (dog bed and/or blanket, carpet, couch, people bed or their own crate). How ever they sleep at home we want them to sleep like that here. Time I'll spend with your dog Cliff works from home and I (Kathryn) am a stay at home mom with 2 grown children (living at home) and my youngest is in high school so there is always someone in the house to keep your pet company. Your pet will be treated like part of our family and will have plenty of playtime, walks and affection.

Pet care experience
We are a family of dog lovers! We offer a smoke free home with ample space and a backyard with lots of lawn. Daily walks, playtime, indoor sleeping and lots of lovin'. We have many years of foster care experience (including pregnant dogs and/or newborn puppies) as well as pet sitting experience. Someone is always home to make sure your dog(s) get the attention and love they deserve while you're away. Why I love dog sitting We have been dog lovers for years! My husband Cliff, myself (Kathryn), our oldest daughter Cydni and our youngest daughter Kyra who love playing and hanging out with all the dogs. Cydni has done volunteer work for the Castaic Animal Shelter and received her Pet CPR certification. We have been volunteering for the past several years with the organization Life 4 Paws where we foster dogs (mostly pregnant dogs and puppies with or without their mama). About my yard We have a fenced in backyard with 1 gate opening. We have a L-shaped lawn to run around on, a cement patio with a cover and access to fresh water. For smaller dogs we have doggie door that goes from our family room to the backyard. My experience administering medication Yes. We have administered medicine in the past so it shouldn't be a problem.
