Working from home, it is simple for me to be engaged, interactive and attentive to your pet's stay--whether at your home or mine. I follow your instructions and guidelines on daily walk and eating habits. From there the day takes the shape it does: dynamically. If more walks are needed, you don't gotta ask me twice to lace 'em up and get outside; if more pets and playtime are needed, I can close the laptop for a bit and oblige. It is a seamless fit.

Safety, trust & environment
I strive to maintain a calm and reassuring presence: I understand that this is going to be a new experience for both of us-- but our common language of getting outside, walking, cuddling up and watching tv will take us far. I am extremely communicative and attentive to whatever may come up, i.e. a new behavior not noted during our initial conversation or if you want to FaceTime your pet.
Information Clement U. would like to know about your pet
The most important information that I need to know to best care for your animal are behavioral quirks, medications needed, likes/dislikes and what helps them live their best life. The more detailed, the better-- this allows me to be mindful of how to best help.
A typical day
One of my favorite personal activities is to go for walks. Couple your dog with this fact, and walking becomes exponentially more enjoyable. Along with walks, and I mean long walks along the beach, I really enjoy taking your dog to the park and playing chuck-it... or frisbee... or to just watch them frolic in the sun and grass. Within the home, I am present and allow them to have the autonomy to be as they are: to roam, to nap, to come and hang out with me and let me know when they want to go out again or just say what's up. More often than not though, I'm belly-rubbing and petting and figuring ways to keep them busy and wagging their tails. I work from home and often find myself walking around Cobbs Creek Park, to the local field by my house or sitting on the stoop watching the world going by. Your pet will be beyond sated when staying with me!

Pet care experience
**Note from Clement, 12/6/2025: Hello prospective and current pet parents! I am pausing overnight dog sitting for the remainder of 2025 and (possibly) the first quarter of 2026. I am still open to working with new pet parents, but restricting my services to dog walks or drop-ins (so long as they fit with my schedule). Thank you for your understanding.** My name is Clement and I am a lifelong dog lover. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes and I have a special affinity for working with rescue dogs. In my work with rescue dogs, most have separation anxiety and other anxiety related issues. In my interactions with all dogs, I strive to be a calming influence and someone that the dogs become comfortable with. What this looks like is me being very active and present in their day: taking them for long walks, playing chuck-it and allowing them to be their happy and gregarious selves. As a travel sitter, I feel it allows the dog the ability to remain comfortable in their own surroundings (and favorite napping spots!) while also limiting the owner's need to jostle their dog out of their routine. My goal as a travel sitter in your home is to leave it better than I found it. I am a non smoker, I am a good housekeeper and I am trustworthy. I pride myself on following directions, rules and making sure that safety of your home and your dog(s) is the top priority.
Reviews

Clement is amazing. Exceptional. Outstanding. Provides loving, attentive, and communicative in-home care to our 5-year-old Boxer, allowing us to travel again without worry. A man of rare gifts!!

Clement stayed in our house with our dogs for over two weeks. He was an absolute godsend. During that time, our basement flooded and he was kind enough to make sure none of our property got damaged, cleaned up the mess, AND to talk to our contractors. He sent multiple photos a day of our dogs, making sure we never got too homesick. When the engagement was done, Clement left the house incredibly clean, and our dogs whimpered as he walked away. If that's not an endorsement from our pups, I don't know what is!

Clement is great with our dog and two cats. He sends a ton of adorable updates and everyone is happy and healthy upon our return. We will continue to book with Clement.

Clement was fantastic! Took great care of my dog, sent lots of photos and updates, and was just a general joy to work with. I can't recommend his services enough.
