As a freelancer working from home, I have the flexibility to change my environment while enjoying the company of pets. I love the balance it brings - caring for animals while maintaining my work routine and incorporating them into my active lifestyle (hiking, walking, running). I also live in a house in East Sooke, close to many forest and seaside walking trails. My backyard is surrounded by nature, and I can easily secure a pet on a leash so they can safely enjoy the sun while I work outside beside them.

Otherwise, I usually start the day with something active (running, walking, or hiking) and go for another walk in the afternoon. Since I work from home, pets always benefit from my company, whether I’m working indoors or outside. I’m also just a text or call away, and I love sending daily updates and photos to owners. Having a car makes me very flexible in case of an emergency.
