I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 50 years, and animals have always been an important part of my life. Over the years, I’ve walked, played, cuddled, and cared for dogs of all personalities, while also enjoying the quieter moments of getting to know and bond with cats. I recently relocated to the area after a few years living in the North and am looking forward to getting to know the local pet community. I currently share my home with Maple, my beloved dog, and I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care. I’m mature, responsible, dependable, and communicative. I’m gentle and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a little space and quiet companionship. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, kindness, and respect I would want for my own. For me, pet care isn’t simply a job — it’s about making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

I take a calm, attentive approach to every pet in my care. During walks and drop-in visits, I follow your instructions carefully and keep your pet’s safety and comfort my top priority. I’m mindful of each dog’s age, energy level, temperament, and individual needs. Walks are tailored to the dog rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, whether they enjoy a longer walk, a leisurely sniff around the neighborhood, or simply some gentle companionship. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, follows their usual feeding and care routine, gets the attention they enjoy, and is safe and comfortable before I leave. I’m also happy to provide updates so you know how your pet is doing. Your home and your pet are treated with respect and care. My goal is to provide dependable, trustworthy care that gives you peace of mind while you’re away.

Claudia is the best! My older dog, who has arthritis and mobility/activity limitations, was very happy staying with her. I couldn’t imagine anyone taking better care of her than Claudia. We will definitely book with her again.
Claudia is an amazing host, very responsible and helpful. I had Ollie stay at her place and I received a lot of useful informations about him during the stay, Claudia is always there and willing to share if you have any question. Highly recommended!
Claudia was great! The dogs looked like they were having a great time! She was good with communication. Her yard was perfect- large and shaded! Would use her again!
Claudia took such good care of Angus. She sent pictures and videos throughout the stay. He loved playing with the other dogs in her backyard! Would definitely use her services again.

I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some backyard sniffing and exploring, a little playtime, belly rubs, or simply some calm companionship, I’ll tailor each visit to their individual needs and personality. I’m attentive to the little things, too—refreshing water, following feeding instructions, giving medications when requested, and making sure your pet is comfortable before I leave. I’ll also keep you updated after each visit so you know how your dog is doing. I believe pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, kindness, and respect I would want for my own.
