I've grown up around animals my whole life, including huskies, and I spent most of my life horseback riding. I currently have a young husky named Mako, so I have daily experience with exercise, training, grooming, and keeping dogs on a consistent routine. Mako and I are home from Berklee College of Music for the summer, so we’ve been spending lots of time outside! We regularly go hiking and swimming, and at home he has access to several acres of land where he can safely explore on a supervised 100-foot lead, well away from the road. I do most of Mako's grooming myself, including bathing and brushing to prevent matting, and I'm happy to do the same for dogs in my care if requested. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and can safely separate dogs if needed without making them feel left out. Mako is very friendly and loves meeting new dogs, but I pay close attention to make sure he’s not overwhelming anyone with his puppy energy. I keep a consistent schedule and will treat your dog like one of my own. There's also a vet right around the corner in case of an emergency, giving you extra peace of mind while your pet is in my care.
