We love to care for your furbabies
We love animals and have experience with dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits. We’ve owned pets for 20 years. We have also fostered dogs in our home and are looking forward to spoiling your fur babies. Our family has done a lot of house sitting for friends & family in the past. We will treat your animals as if they were part of our family. Yet, we believe that maintaining their routine is important for the dogs/cats‘ well-being while you’re gone. Thus, we will closely follow your care instructions for your pets.

Claudia and Don took care of our dog like he was their own, and had thorough knowledge and experience to deal with any issues that arose. Their house and yard is perfect for a doggy, indoors and out, and availability with family home to keep dogs comfy.
Claudia is amazing!! She took such great care of Pepper while we were away (getting married!). She took him to the Lake, on walks, and gave him lots of love. Claudia sent us daily updates and pictures so we could see all the fun Pepper was having. We will definitely have her watch him again!
We found Claudia & Don through Rover and they were very flexible with our last minute trip changes, and were able to accommodate our dog Nala. Claudia shared many updates with us throughout our trip, including pictures which was great. After our trip, Nala came home very happy and comfortable.we don’t travel frequently, so Nala was a bit hesitant and nervous around new people while we were gone, but I appreciated the time and effort Claudia put in to help Nala feel comfortable. Many people could have just crated her the whole weekend and not said anything. We would love to have them watch Nala again!
We could not be happier with their hospitality and service. They kept us updated few times a day with pictures of our dog cookie and letting us know how he was doing. I highly recommend them and am very thankful. Looking forward to take cookie back to them in the future. Thank you Claudia and Don! ?
Claudia and Don were wonderful hosts for Max. They graciously took him last minute. Max loved playing with their dog Obi.

Schedule
We believe our fur babies are family members. When scheduling services with us, your pets will be our top priority. We will try to adjust our care of your dog or cat to your instructions and maintain as much of their usual routine as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs will receive daily walks, regular feeding based on their normal schedule, cuddle times, and training or play sessions to keep them entertained. Cats - in addition to their regular feeding- will get play time if they’re not too shy. If boarding with us, we have large fenced-in yard and 4 gigantic dog beds around the house for dogs to cuddle with each other (if well socialized) and at least one outside for soaking up the sun-rays. Depending on how much your dog can be trusted to not get into things that can hurt them, they’ll spend a lot of time outside the crate. Otherwise, the crate they stay in will be close to all the family activities so they feel part of the pack.
Pets
A typical day
There will be tons of playtime, snuggles on the couch (if you approve dog on couch) and walks around the neighborhood and along the Folsom lake. During playtime, dogs will be mentally challenged with training or puzzles and rewarded with treats (only those you approve).
