Your dog’s best walking buddy 🐾
I have always had dogs in my life and genuinely love spending time with them. I have experience caring for different breeds and sizes, including a Cocker Spaniel, Labrador, Border Collie, French Poodles and mixed-breed dogs. I had my own Cocker Spaniel, Jack, who was a very special part of my life. Since moving to Portland, I really miss having a dog around, so dog walking and pet care feels like the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs again while doing something I already love — walking! I am caring, patient, responsible and attentive to each dog's individual personality and routine. I understand that every dog is different, so I am happy to follow the owner's instructions regarding walks, feeding, routines and any particular preferences. Most importantly, I would look after your dog with the same care and affection I would want someone to give my own. 🐾

I have a very demanding job and unfortunately don't always have as much time as I would like to spend with my dog. Having Claudia there has given me real peace of mind because I know she's not just being “looked after” — she's genuinely being cared for and having a lovely time. One of the things I appreciate most about Claudia is that she really listens to how I want my dog to be cared for. She follows her normal diet and routine, doesn't give her food or treats I haven't agreed to, and I never have to worry about her spending hours shut in a crate. Claudia genuinely loves dogs and absolutely loves walking — probably more than my dog does sometimes! 😂 She would take her on proper walks and give her plenty of individual attention. She wasn't one of several dogs being walked at the same time; whenever Claudia looked after her, it was just the two of them, which I really valued. Over time Claudia has helped me with regular walks and day care, and on a few occasions when I've been away, my dog has stayed at her home too. When you have a busy life, finding someone you completely trust with your dog makes such a difference. With Claudia, I could get on with my day or go away knowing she was safe, happy and being treated like part of the family. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely cares about their dog.
I couldn't recommend Claudia enough! She has looked after my dog for me and I always know he's in very good hands with her. She's naturally brilliant with dogs — very affectionate but also responsible and attentive. She loves taking them out for walks, playing with them and giving them lots of attention, and she's really good at understanding that every dog has their own little personality and habits. My dog is always so happy to see her, which for me says everything! It's such a relief having someone I trust and knowing that he's not only being looked after, but actually having a lovely time while I'm away.
I have known Claudia for many years and can honestly say that she is a very caring, responsible and trustworthy person, with a genuine love for dogs. Claudia has looked after my Labrador, Violet, since she was a puppy, and I have always felt completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She is very affectionate and patient with her, takes her for walks, plays with her, and gives her plenty of attention. Violet knows her very well and is always happy and comfortable around her. Claudia is also very responsible and attentive, and I know she takes caring for a dog seriously. If she were in London, I would have no hesitation in trusting her with Violet again or recommending her to anyone looking for someone kind and reliable to look after their dog. Schedule
I work shifts, so my availability varies throughout the week, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for both weekday and weekend walks. I love longer walks and I’m happy to arrange regular or occasional walks around my schedule. I’m also available for pet visits and pet sitting. Having both a car and a motorbike gives me the flexibility to travel around Portland and Weymouth depending on the weather and your pet’s needs. Safety, trust & environment
I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog. I will always follow your instructions and your dog's usual routine, including feeding, walking preferences and any special requirements. I’m patient and attentive, and I’ll take the time to get to know your dog and what makes them feel comfortable and safe. I’m also happy to send you photos and updates while they’re with me.
A typical day
Being new to Portland, I’m still discovering all the beautiful walks, coastal paths, parks and beaches around Portland and Weymouth – and I’d love a four-legged companion to explore them with! 🐾 Depending on your dog’s personality and energy levels, we can enjoy anything from a relaxed sniff-and-explore walk to a longer coastal adventure, with plenty of playtime, attention and cuddles along the way. I have both a car and a motorbike, so I’m flexible and able to travel depending on the weather and your pet’s needs.
