Safety, trust & environment

I want to care for your animals the way you would care for them. I will not take them out of their daily routine and will care for them how they are used to being cared for.

Information Claudia C. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if your dog is fearful, reactive towards other animals/people, or has any health issues. Other things that might be helpful to know is types of treats they can have and toys they like to play with.

A typical day

Here are some of the things I like to do to have fun with dogs. We can go on walks, play fetch, tug of war with toys, and water play (if your dog enjoys that.) I can also work on some basic training like sit, down, stay, high five, and spin. I can give them both physical and mental enrichment!

Passionate dog lover!

Pet care experience

I have loved dogs, and owned them, for my entire life. I have had experience with taking care of my own dogs as well as the dogs of others. Any age from puppy to senior. Growing up taking care of animals made me want to pursue a career in Animal Behavior. I graduated Canisius College with my Bachelor’s in Animal Behavior, Ecology, and Conservation. I have experience working as a Canine Behaviorist at the SPCA: Serving Erie County. I have experience with dog training, dog handling, leash training, and basic manners. My passion for dogs has guided my life in many ways. I majored in Visual Arts in high school and most of my personal artwork includes dogs and advocating on their behalf. I currently own two dogs Milo is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is fun, super loving, and talented at getting into all kinds of trouble, Delgado is a German Shepherd who is full of energy and love to play with his balls. I also have two tuxedo cats, a brother and sister pair named Joel and Ellie. As well as a rescued stray cat named Calvin.

Thanks so much to Claudia for watching our cats while we were away! Cats were fed, litter boxes cleaned, and we even saw some photos of them while we were away. Claudia is very friendly and the cats, who are often skittish, greeted her right away. Will definitely look her up next time!
