Pet care experience

Loving sitter healing through care!

Hi! I’m Claudia from Huntersville, NC. This past April, we lost our beloved furry baby who was almost 9 years old. Since then, caring for dogs has been both a way to heal and a joy for me and my family. I bring that same love, patience, and commitment to every dog in my care. Whether your pup needs daytime attention or overnight stays, I’ll treat them like family—providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, and playtime tailored to their personality and needs. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Let’s arrange a Meet & Greet so your dog can feel at home with me.

Claudia is wonderful. So nice and sends lots of photos and videos. She did a great job with Jasper and you can tell both her and her partner really, truly love dogs. Highly recommend. 🩷

Claudia is fantastic. Bentley loves his time at her house, and I don’t worry one bit while I am away. She cares for him as if he is her own, and as a dog mom that is so important! Bentley can’t wait to go see her again!

I had no doubts while Odie was in their care. Constant communication and updates kept me confident in our furry family member's care. Odie was happy upon our arrival for his pickup and I couldn't ask for more in a daycare stay. I wish we lived closer as I would most definitely use them for services again!

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I work from home and have the full support of my family. That means your pup will always have loving attention, regular walks, playtime, and a calm, safe environment. I usually start the day with a morning walk, followed by meals, structured play, and rest. Throughout the day, your dog will get plenty of one-on-one time and personalized care. Evenings are peaceful and cozy — I’m always available for cuddles and relaxing downtime so your pup feels right at home.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a quiet home with a fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play. My home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly — a great space for dogs to relax, play, and feel comfortable. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, as we recently lost our beloved dog, but I’ve been welcoming pups into my home ever since to share the love and help me heal. Because I want to give each dog plenty of attention and a low-stress environment, I only accept up to two dogs per day.

A typical day

A typical day at my home is relaxed, playful, and full of love. I start the morning with a walk around our quiet neighborhood or some playtime in the fenced yard. Throughout the day, your pup will enjoy indoor freedom, personalized attention, and breaks for stretching, treats, and belly rubs. I offer two walks a day (or more if needed), interactive games like fetch or tug-of-war, and lots of cuddles — especially during nap time. Dogs are never crated unless requested, and I follow your pup’s schedule closely to keep things comfortable and familiar. I keep things calm in the evenings with another walk and some cozy wind-down time. If your dog loves extra affection, I’m always happy to offer a lap, a soft bed, or a quiet corner for relaxing.

Yes, I like to know a few key things ahead of time so I can give your dog the best care possible. Please share: • Your dog’s daily routine (meals, potty breaks, bedtime) • Any medical needs, allergies, or medications • How your dog behaves with strangers or other animals • Any separation anxiety, chewing habits, or crate training • Whether they’re spayed/neutered and house-trained • Any fears (like thunder, vacuums, fireworks) I also love to know what your dog enjoys most — walks, toys, cuddles, or a quiet nap spot — so I can make them feel right at home. I typically care for up to 2 dogs at a time to ensure quality attention. If you’d prefer exclusive care for your pup, I’m happy to offer this for an additional 50% of my regular rate.
