I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages in my home for more than 15 years. Dogs have 24h access to one-acre fenced-in grassy yard from inside the home via doggie door where they can run free, play with other dogs, chase squirrels, or take a nap under a shady tree.

As first time Rover and boarder users we were nervous leaving our 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd Atlas with anyone for the first time. From the very first message Clarissa was warm, responsive and thorough. She answered every question thoughtfully and put our minds completely at ease before we even met her. The meet and greet was a wonderful touch and gave us the confidence to move forward. During his stay Clarissa sent daily photos and updates which meant the world to us while we were away. When he needed extra comfort at night she took him upstairs to sleep with her dogs so he felt safe and settled. That level of care goes so far beyond what any boarding facility could offer. Atlas came home happy, tired and smelly (which we expected :) )from a week of running in her beautiful fenced in yard. Honestly I don’t think he wanted to leave! For a high energy Aussie who is used to being home all day, Clarissa’s calm home environment and the way she manages her pack was absolutely perfect for him. We cannot recommend Clarissa highly enough, especially for first time boarders or anxious dog owners. We will absolutely be booking again.
She is absolutely amazing and her and her family love the dogs and take very good care of them. My Bernadoodle did not want to leave.
Benny always loves going to Clarissa's!
Brodie came home exhausted after his stay at Clarissa’s. Lots of room to run and other pups to play with. It’s a relief when I can leave my dog with someone I trust so thoroughly.

Clarissa took such good care of our Benny for 12 days and sent us tons of videos and photos! She is very responsive and we felt so good knowing Benny was having fun playing with other dogs in a home environment.

Schedule
I work from home so the dogs are never alone. One of my favorite things is to take several walks around the property during sunny days with the pack following me around like their “Momma Duck”.

Safety, trust & environment
I have one-acre of fenced yard and well manicured lawn with 3 dogs of my own. Dogs are never crated and are free to roam around outside or stay inside by the fireplace while I work. Dogs may also find themselves napping on the couch, or sleeping in bed with my daughters.
Pets
A typical day
I spend the entire day with the dogs. They have access to the backyard from inside my house through a doggie door, where they can run, play, and explore freely as much as they’d like. I also take several walking breaks throughout the day to walk around the yard and throw the ball around.
