Like long walks on the beach? I do!
I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs of varied breeds and sizes. I've fostered several large breed dogs. I've also volunteered at two no-kill shelters to take the dogs waiting for adoption on walks and helping to socialize them. During the winter, I'm very mindful of keeping your pup's feet healthy, and have lots of experience putting on booties to protect their paws or making sure to wash off any salt after our walks if they walk uncovered. I'm familiar with all kinds of harnesses, collars, and leashes. Keeping your pup safe while we are out is my number one concern. I also love to capture photos of your pup to send to you.

Clarissa took amazing care of my pup! She provided updates throughout the entire stay and I felt like my pup was in great hands.
Mondo had an amazing time staying with Clarissa and her family… I think he wanted to stay longer! Clarissa kept me updated on how he was doing throughout his stay and sent cute photos showing all the fun he was having. I know my little guy was well cared for and I plan on booking with Clarissa whenever I go out of town in the future. Mondo and I would give 10 stars if we could!

Great communication and care for our pup
Clarissa was an amazing sitter for tofu. She provided daily updates and tofu had such a great time. Upon drop off, he was so excited to go to her home - he didn’t even care I was leaving! He also got along very well with her daughters and dog, Hercules. Highly recommend Clarissa for your pup!!
Clarissa is absolutely amazing! She took amazing care of my pup and I’m looking forward to having her watch him again. She sent lots of pictures, communicated often, and just has amazing energy.

Programa
I'm available for drop-in visits and walks on weekday evenings and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. I don’t have a lot of evening commitments so overnight pet sitting works well for me. We also rarely travel for the holidays.

I have a fenced in backyard with locked gates. We always monitor time out in the yard. Non-smoking home with dog gates to keep pups out of off limits areas. Building trust is important, so I approach all dogs calmly and provide them with attention and care according to the owner’s instructions.

I have a 7 year old Bichon Frise who loves every dog and person he’s ever met that would love to play, along with two older teenage daughters who want to give your pup all of the snuggles for any overnights. We go on a long morning and evening walk every day and are a short distance from Horner Park. Between the three of us, someone is generally always home.
