Hi, I’m Claire! I’ve been caring for dogs for years and truly see them as family. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing fetch, or just offering a cozy spot to nap, I understand how important it is for your pup to feel safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I’m especially comfortable with puppies who need a little extra patience, care and training. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’d be honored to be your dog’s new friend! Live “on post”? As a milspouse, I have access to base housing at Eglin, Hurlburt, and Duke Field. I have years of experience with freshwater aquariums and small birds also! If you have reptiles, I am comfortable handling and feeding but may need some guidance with their other needs!

I currently care for pets in their own homes through drop-in visits and walks. When I’m visiting a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would want in my own. I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their familiar environment—whether that means sticking closely to their feeding and potty routines, spending time playing and snuggling, or just offering calm companionship. I always aim to keep your pets relaxed and happy while you’re away, and I’m happy to send photo updates so you feel at ease too. Need the mail collected? Lamps on a schedule? I know leaving your home can cause worry, I’m happy to help ease your anxiety by doing small tasks around the home to ensure you come home to a happy pet and a safe environment.

Claire did a great job house sitting our husky and Bernese mountain dog! She kept us updated with every visit and kept our dogs company. She is a great communicator.
Clarice did an amazing job watching my cat! She went out of her way to give him enrichment time and gave him so many loves and attention. She even tidied up my apartment while I was away!
We definitely recommend Clarice! She was incredible with both of our dogs, and went above and beyond with updates and communication. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves on our trip because we knew our pups were in good hands.
Clarice was super flexible and saw our buddy right aftter I contacted her last minute! Super grateful since no one else was able to last minute! She played with Ralph and took good care of him! Thank you!!

Schedule
I’m a stay-at-home mom with three kids, and we’ve been living in the Destin area for just over a year—loving every minute of the beach life! Because we currently rent our home, I’m only offering dog walking and drop-in visits at your home. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, as I have a flexible schedule and truly enjoy getting out for walks, giving pets some extra love and attention, and helping families feel at ease while they’re away. Whether it’s a midday walk or a morning visit, I’m happy to work with your pet’s schedule and needs.
