I run a private property rental business from home, which only requires a few hours of my time every week, so I am around most of the time to give my full attention to your gorgeous fur babies.

I have expeeience of both staying in the pet owner's home, as well as boarding at my home, and treat any pets as jf they were my own. I love going out walking, playing with animals and i adore lots of cuddles! I'm also happy to give animals their own space, if they aren't so cuddly or are a bit shy to start with. I have experience of administering medication, so this won't be an issue at all.

Please let me know if your dog(s) don't get on with other dogs, or if they're tempramental, have any particular needs or require any medication. I also like to have vets' details in advance, if possible.
A typical day
With dogs, I like to be up earlyish to let them outside for their morning ablusions, then I feed them. After a bit of fussing and playing I take them out for either a nice long walk or a shorter walk (with another one in the afternoon/evening), depending on what you would prefer. With cats, i get up and give them a bit of a fuss, then I feed them and let them outside (if they're outdoor cats or don't have a catflap). I give them as much fuss as they desire and love playing with cat toys. I love animal cuddles and am happy to adopt the routine that you prefer for your pet.

Hi, I'm Clare. I am extremely passionate about animals and have had pets for many years of my life. I currently don't have any of my own pets, so am more flexible than ever, with the services that I offer. I have 10+ years experience of professional pet sitting and dog walking and also completed a dog grooming course 3 years ago, so I am haooy to negotiate grooming prices, if required. Over the course of this time, I have sat for several different animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, tortoises and fish and have loved every minute of it. I believe that animals are a vital part of a family and deserve as much respect as humans. I am happy to sit for other animals again, if it's not/not just a dog that you require being looked after :) I have experience of administering medication via oral syringe, drops and tablets and have also had to apply skin cream to a horse with skin cancer!! As well as sitting, walking and grooming, i have also volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary, in Thailand. I did this for 2 months and the experience was absolutely invaluable! I am also looking at starting up my own sitting/walking and feeding/visiting business. Most of my experience has been gained through word of mouth, family and friends and via the website Trusted Housesitters. I have quite a few reviews on there, all of which are 5*. I also ran a little doggy day care business in Spain, a few years back, and did a few house sits while i was living there. I can also get you some personal reviews for friends that I have pet sat for. I am flexible, trustworthy, honest and caring and would be more than happy to have a Zoom call or Whatsapp video call with you, if you wanted to chat, or alternatively I can pop by to meet you and your furry friends, and to have a chat. This is my first time in using Rover and I was rather apprehensive about it all. I decided to choose Clare as she was happy to meet beforehand as well as being an experienced dog lover. As Ziggy is a nervous/ anxious dog I was important to me that Ziggy met her house sitter first especially as I wasn’t going to be at home when the sitter arrived. Clare communicated well with me keeping me informed and let me know when she arrived and that Ziggy was so pleased to see her which put me at ease. Clare attached two photos of Ziggy to a Rover Card having a great time playing with her ball. I highly recommend Clare and will certainly book her when I need another house sitter for Ziggy.
Clare has looked after our two dogs (Ace and Jack) a number of times and we have always felt very comfortable leaving her in charge of both our babies and our house. Nothing has been too much of a problem including having one nervous rescue dog and a handful of a puppy and the odd accident etc. We would highly recommend Clare to anyone looking for someone reliable, confident and trustworthy.
I cannot express how thankful I am to have found Clare. She was amazing and we came home from our holiday to very happy pets and the house was spotless. She communicated with us while we were away and sent pictures and updates regularly.
Clare house sat for me for a few days. She looked after my two small dogs and two chickens extremely well. She let me know how they were doing while I was away and sent pictures of them. The house was neat and tidy when I got back. Clare was responsible and efficient and I would be very happy to have her house sit for me again.
