Availability
Sitting at the Owner’s home. I will only be able to watch pets overnight or sit for pets who can be alone between 7 and 3:30 during the week. I will have some weekend availability as well where I’m more available. I have a car and I am happy to either hang out with pets who need full time attention or part time attention.

I will respect their space and I will make sure to check the rules and expectations. If there is a yard I will make sure to pick up after the dog. If there is no yard, I’ll take the dog on a substantial walk, based on how the owner would like them walked. Of course with cats I will give them their privacy if they're more shy or I will play and cuddle with them if they let me!

I would like to know any restrictions the dog/pet has, whether food, behavior, etc. I would like to know if the pet is friendly with humans, other animals, etc. I would love to know if the dog prefers long walks or would rather run in the yard or at a local park. I plan on having some toys and treats, so let me know their diet as well if they dislike certain treats.
A typical day
I will get to know the dog through play and through walking. I know to kneel down, extend my hand, and wait for the dog to sniff and get to know me. Once we have done that, we will play with any toys that I have or the owner has. I will spend as much time outside based on the weather. For the cats, I will make sure to find ways to play with them to get some energy out and of course take time for pets.

Pet sitting at the Owner’s home: I am a teacher and off and available throughout the summer. Please check out my availability and I’ll be happy to accommodate. Barring any unavailable days I’m around a most hours. Starting August 12, I will be only available to watch dogs and cats who are able to be alone between 7am and 3:30 each weekday. I understand that is a big gap. Since I was a dog owner for many years and I have many close friends and family that I pet sit for in my free time. I am very responsible and I love all animals. I’m willing to help whomever. Please let me know what other information you need from me.
