Thank you for checking out my profile! I'm Clare, a caring, reliable and very experienced pet owner (and lover of animals of all shapes and sizes), and I'd love to help with looking after your furry or feathered friends while you're away. I've had animals my whole life and love giving them the best car, including plenty of cuddles. I've always had dogs as pets, but also cared for different types of dogs including foster dogs with a range of temperaments and issues, reactive dogs and working dogs. This has included training puppies. I also grew up with cats and have had a number of other pets that have been a big part of the family, including chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits (both house and outdoor buns), guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, tropical fish, budgies, and even mice once upon a time - an underrated pet! I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in the care of a stranger, and will work with you to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible, with frequent updates and check ins as often as you'd like. I am currently on maternity leave and as well as my baby, have an almost 3 year old who is extremely gentle with (and enamoured by!) animals, and a very capable assistant putter-down of food bowls and provider of treats.

Clare did a brilliant job of pet sitting our 2 cats and rabbit. She was very accommodating of our last minute booking and showed care and attention to each pet’s individual needs. Communication was great. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Clare.
Clare and her family were amazing. They treated Coco like a princess (and I think she milked it a little!). Lots of lovely walks, giving my dog her medication, great communication with lots of photos. I would highly recommend.
I have known Clare for 14 years and although she does not have dogs of her own she is used to being around them and has grown up in a family of dog-lovers. I think this role would suit her perfectly as she has flexibility in her daily routine and would be able to work around the commitments of others to care for animals in their homes or carry out dog-walking responsibilities etc. Clare is honest, responsible and friendly.
We were so pleased with the care that Clare provided for our two cats and five chickens while we were away. Everything was looked after brilliantly, with great communication and real attention to detail. It was such a relief knowing all our animals were happy, safe and well cared for. We came home to relaxed pets and everything exactly as we’d hoped. Highly recommended!
Clare has frequently looked after my 2 labradors. It’s clear that she is genuinely fond of them and enjoys looking after them - they certainly love her! She is very knowledgable and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her as someone totally reliable and responsible. It’s great knowing I don’t need to worry about my boys at all when she is caring for them.

Schedule
I'm currently on maternity leave, so have plenty of time to play and snuggle with your pets! I drop my eldest at nursery at 8am and then my parents can look after the baby while I pop in at any time of day. I can feed, walk, top up water, do a little grooming - whatever your furry friend needs!

We can chat about what you'd like me to do with your pet aand I'm more than happy to accommodate their needs, whether that be for playtime, meals, a leg stretch, or just some cuddles. I can easily crate pets if needed or let them out for some fresh air while keeping a close eye on them. With dog walking, I have experience of dogs that are strong on the lead and those that are reactive. I'll always give lots of updates on how your pet is doing, and send plenty of pics as I'm sure you'll be missing them!
