Beautiful walks, secure gardens & comfy sofas!
Owned many dogs all my life, now the proud Mum to two very friendly Working Cocker Spaniels. Completed Canine First Aid course and Canine Body Language course, also completed IMDT course ‘becoming a dog trainer’. Taken part in many dog training courses, gun dog, agility, obedience etc.

Sarah took wonderful care of our dog. She sent regular updates on his welfare, which made us feel at ease that he was happy and having a good time. Would strongly recommend.
Our 4 yr old cocker spaniel had not been left with anyone outside family before. However, he clearly loves going to Clare’s and playing with his new ‘friends’. Clare made sure he was happy and had the opportunity to build up to overnight stays. Cannot thank her enough for looking after him and sending lots of pics so we could see how settled he was.
Clare has looked after our working cocker spaniel Frank twice. The first time when he was 4 months old and again at 11 months. I didn't think it was possible to tire him out but Clare did just that! We went for a dog walk with Clare before both bookings which was a lovely touch. We were sent updates and pictures/videos several times per day. Frank cried when he had to come home! I would recommend Clare to any dog owner and especially spaniel owners!
Can’t recommend Clare enough- she and her daughter were amazing with Missie! Regular updates with pictures and Miss was reluctant to leave which is always a good sign! Look forward to booking her again soon
Clare was an amazing carer for our dog Teddy; we couldn’t recommend her enough! She made us feel at ease with leaving Teddy for the first time and any nerves we had were soon gone because Clare kept us updated throughout his stay. We loved seeing the photos and videos of him on his walks and having a great time with Clare’s two dog's. We would 100% recommend Clare and we look forward to using her again to look after Teddy. He was so well cared for!
As always, Ashe had a fab time with Clare - lots of updates on fun walks & cuddles in the evening 🖤🐾 we will always rebook Clare when we need someone to look after the pup!

Schedule
Stay at home Mum to my beautiful two year old daughter. Your dog won’t be left longer than an hour at a time for my daughter and I to go to the park or pop to the shops. No need to worry about another job being fitted in at the same time as looking after your pet. We are a very outdoorsy Mum and daughter, so unless your pet likes to chill out, we (my daughter and I and the dogs) can be out and about in the beautiful Herts countryside a couple of times a day.

Safety, trust & environment
Fully enclosed front and back garden which will be available at all times, and supervised. Dogs will be only allowed off lead with your permission and with a reliable recall. You can choose for off lead walks to be in secure enclosed paddocks if needed (additional cost of hiring the paddock). Your pet will be walked with one or both of my Spaniels, unless you request 1:1 walks which I am happy to do.
Pets
A typical day
As a stay at home Mum, your dog won’t be left at home alone for extended periods of time. My two friendly Cocker Spaniels will always be here too. I will only take one booking at a time, so your dogs will receive plenty of fuss and attention. Depending on their energy levels, we usually walk for 60 mins in the morning and 45-60 mins in the evening. For older or less active dogs, this can be shortened with lots of time for slow sniffy walks too. Living in a beautiful village walks will be taken in lovely country side away from main roads.
