Clare has been absolutely fantastic from the very beginning! She took the time to get to know all of Albert's quirks and habits, making her home feel like a true home away from home for him. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Clare. She kept me updated every step of the way with wonderful daily photos and detailed updates on Albert's exploits. It was so reassuring knowing he was getting his daily exercise at the lovely park nearby and receiving so much care and attention. On top of that, she was incredibly accommodating and flexible with pick-up and drop-off times, which made everything completely stress-free. I would highly recommend Clare to anyone looking for a top-tier dog sitter. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much, Clare!

Clare has looked after my 2 house cats several times, both in my home and in her own. My older rescue cat, Orla, who was 18 when she passed, could be standoffish when exposed to new people and places, but Clare won her over. Orla liked to snuggle but only liked being petted around her ears and chin, Clare understood this and soon had Orla coming to her when Orla wanted to rest and sleep. My younger cat, Fern, I've had from a kitten and she is now 10. She loves to be near people, will purr and rub against your legs, but doesn't actually want you to touch her. Clare accepted this and allowed Fern to get to know her at her own pace. Clare has an amazing understanding of general animal behaviours, but also that every animal is an individual and has their own personality and boundaries, just like people. If Clare is watching your pet she will listen to your understanding of you pet's needs and wants, but will also follow your pet's prompts to make sure she doesn't overstep their boundaries. I have recommended Clare to friends and they have also been very happy with her treatment of their pets.

Clare has pulled me out of many a hole, on numerous occasions now when it comes to my 11 year old French Bulldog, Frankie. On first meeting I was really nervous because Frankie is now losing his hearing and this has made him more of an anxious dog than he’s ever been in younger years, but the connection was there between them instantly and Clare made me feel so at ease with leaving him in her care with plenty of updates to reassure me he’s doing great. She also has a background in Animal Care and a real knowledge when it comes to the needs of my boy especially at his old age, which is just so comforting. Frankie now looks forward to his visits with Clare which takes all the dog mum guilt from me instantly! I’ll always recommend and still do all the time to so many others!

I cannot recommend Clare highly enough as a pet sitter and dog walker. She has cared for my English Bulldog, Tommy, countless times throughout his nine years of life, and I trust her completely with him. Clare has always had a genuine love for animals and has volunteered at a number of safari parks over the years to further her knowledge and experience of caring for them. Her passion for animal welfare shines through in everything she does, and she is always keen to learn more about providing the best possible care. She is incredibly kind, patient and attentive, taking the time to understand the individual needs of every dog. Tommy has several breed-specific care requirements, and Clare is knowledgeable and proactive in meeting them. She knows the importance of cleaning under his corkscrew tail after he goes to the toilet to help prevent infections, regularly cleaning his facial folds and ears, keeping him cool in warm weather and warm in colder weather because of his difficulty regulating body temperature, and judging the right amount of exercise to keep him happy and comfortable without overexertion. Clare is observant and quick to notice even subtle changes in a dog’s behaviour or wellbeing, and she always puts their health, comfort and happiness first. Knowing Tommy is in her care gives me complete peace of mind because I know he’ll be treated with the same love and attention as if he were her own. I would wholeheartedly recommend Clare to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable and compassionate pet sitter. Any pet owner would be fortunate to have someone as dedicated and caring looking after their beloved pet.
