Hello! I am based in Portland, ME and have been regularly dog sitting for over 8 years. I love all dogs and am comfortable with puppies to elderly dogs, including pets who require special care. I grew up with dogs and miss having one, so I would love to hang with yours! I love long walks, runs, and hikes and am happy to accommodate any energy level. I have experience with house sitting, boarding, and dog walking.

I am a very organized and neat person and will be sure to maintain your space and be respectful. I have extensive experience with house sitting and house keeping. In my home, pets have a nice bed space (or can sleep with me if they prefer) and plenty of room to roam around. I have a yard and live by the water.

Clare is great! She is our go to dog sitter for Pongo, always keeps me updated on how he is throughout the day with texts & photos.
She was phenomenal! She kept in touch with what they were doing and sent photos regularly. Would recommend her to others and would book her again.
Clare is such a wonderful and genuine human and that really came across in the way she had Sammy's full attention within the first few minutes of meeting. Admittedly, he could be excited with new people, but she handled him perfectly and by the time they came back from a walk, it's like they were besties for years. He was genuinely upset she had to leave at the end of the stay. It really speaks wonders to her approach to the needs of the pup. Anyone would be lucky to have her services and know your little ones would be in good hands with her.

Schedule
I like to take long walks or runs every day and am an early riser. I’m available to accommodate your dog’s energy levels and needs. I work asynchronously and can be home with your pet for most of the day, providing breaks as frequently as needed.
