Please let me know if your dog has special needs and I will gladly accommodate these. I have a preference for small breeds including Maltipoos, toy poodles, chihuahuas and breeds up to 7kg in weight.
A typical day
I like to take dogs in my care for an early morning walk on Primrose Hill. This normally lasts an hour. I then take my dogs out every 3-4 hours for regular toilet breaks which involve 15-20 mins of pavement walking.

Hi there and welcome to Clare’s Canines. I live in NW3 and Iove dogs! I've been a professional dog sitter for the last 10 years and specialize in caring for small breeds up to 7kg. The services I offer include doggie daycare and overnight boarding in my cosy home in Belsize Park NW3, drop in visits and dog walking. I live close to both Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill so can take your pooch on lovely, long walks where they can run off lead and socialize with other dogs if they choose. I offer a pick up and drop off service within the NW3 area, depending on distance. For those that require doggie day care in the familiarity of their own home I am fully DBS checked and offer drop in visits where I will care for your fur baby and attend to their needs in surroundings that they are familiar and comfortable with. I know that each dog, just like a human, has its own personality and needs caring for in a different way. Therefore central to the services that I offer is the ability to understand your canine and to forge a close, trusting relationship with him or her. I’ve cared for many dogs over the last 10 years and I’d love to care for yours ❤️🐶

Leaving Coco with Clare was like leaving her with extended family! Clare made us feel so reassured and sent lovely pictures of Coco every day - Coco was so happy and content when we collected her, I don’t think she wanted to come home! We will absolutely ask Clare and her lovely children to help look after Coco again and feel very lucky we have found such a nice family to leave Coco with when we go away. Lolita is very lucky to be able to stay with Clare and her family. They are just so nice. Their helping hand is just what any responsible pet owner needs to have support for their care. I attended my work travel without a worry in my mind and am sure Lolita was just as good as if she where home with me.
Clare was wonderful with Odin- I got regular updates and pictures and she and her family made sure odin was not only looked after but had fun. He came back happy and healthy. Moreover over I had an issue with flights and had to delay a day and Clare was very helpful and accommodating.
