Hey there! I’m Clara and I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8. I moved to Chelsea in 2026 and grew up in the DC area with a dog and 2 horses. 8+ years in New York and one of my favorite things is caring for my neighbor’s dogs. I’m on Rover to offer the same services to other dog owners in the area. I’m offering housesitting and daycare services which works well for my schedule of frequent walks and wfh! I’m also an early riser for dogs who love a long walk at the start of the day. I began pet sitting with my neighbors who had a lab and Australian shepherd - Zoey and Friday. I’ve cared for and house sat dogs as I went through college. My own dog was trained by me at 8 weeks old and I’m the go-to pet sitter for my sister’s 10 month corgi. My expertise extends to pet sitting, potty training, and thorough head scratches! Since I do work from home, I can take your dog on frequent walks during the day if needed and be on hand to administer medication.

Clara is one of the best dog sitter’s we’ve ever been able to hire! She is great with communication, and our dog looks so happy and relaxed in all the daily pictures. I feel like Clara is very good at giving her lots of outside time- whether it’s her daily walk, or playtime in a sprinkler, or just sitting outside in her favorite spot on the patio. It felt so good to leave our dog with Clara, even for a longer weeklong trip. 10/10 would recommend!

Clara was amazing! She was so communicative and gave us picture updates of how Cody was doing. She was really understanding when Cody was anxious staying at her place for the first time. She was amazing!

Schedule
I work part time and am available to do walks anytime during the day and evening. My job is wfh so I am available to be very flexible with hours and care required in an hourly basis (ie. Hourly walks).

Safety, trust & environment
I’ve done a lot of housesitting for pets who prefer their regular routine. It’s important to me that your dog/cat is in an environment that they’re comfortable with and I can maintain their routine. Tips are always welcome and I’ll take lots of pictures to share how they’re doing during the day!
A typical day
I enjoy taking frequent walks and playing games with dogs. If your dog enjoys pets and head scratches, I have a large supply! I often spend time outside on the phone or taking phone meetings and can sit outside with your dog or take a walking meeting.
