Hi! I’m Clara (she/her) I grew up on a farm with many animals, have had a dog most of my life, and have been watching dogs on Rover for almost 5 years. I would describe my pet care as attentive, compassionate, and playful. I have experience with many breeds, from Shih Tzus to Great Pyrenees. I am particularly experienced in caring for pups with separation anxiety, sensory or digestive issues, and dogs who may need a little extra care :) Certified in Pet CPR & First Aid from Oregon CPR, I love dogs so much and take pride in caring for all dogs as warmly and respectfully as I treat my own.

Clara was incredible! She was so patient with our dog who deals with anxiety and is reactive while we were away for a week. She is just the kindest person and loves animals. We will definitely book with her again!
So glad we found Clara! She did great with our nervous little guy and sent us updates throughout the week, which gave us great peace of mind. We will definitely be boarding with her in the future and cannot recommend her enough!
My dog had a great time with Clara! He was very calm when I picked him up, so I can tell he felt comfortable and safe with her :)
This was my first time using Rover, and Clara put me at ease with her calm and friendly demeanor. The pups were only with her for a couple of hours this first time, but everything seemed to go well, and they were pooped out from playing in her great yard. I’m hoping to make Clara our regular sitter.

We are very grateful to have Clara as a sitter! They are always very communicative, and our dog is very happy there and well-cared for. Our dog has a little bit of separation anxiety, so we're always grateful that Clara and her partner are very understanding and loving towards Tashie. Would not hesitate to use them again!

Schedule
I work from home full-time so my schedule is flexible. I'm able to walk your dog as much as they need and provide frequent outdoor time.

I live in a 1000+ square foot house in a quiet neighborhood with a private, fenced-in backyard. I am a doting, empathetic, and responsible caregiver with effective communication skills. I will send you pictures, update you on the stay as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and will always go above and beyond for your pup. Many of the dogs that I watch have varying levels of anxiety, so creating a quiet, relaxing, and safe space for those that need it is very important to me.
A typical day
I love taking walks around the neighborhood and going to parks nearby. I'm an active person, but I never leave the dogs that I'm watching alone.
