I have experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was young. I have an older dog with many quirks and particular needs so I understand how important it is to meet your dog's needs as an individual. Currently, I am a recent college grad looking to fill out my summer and make some extra cash. Outside of typical dog/cat experience, I also have experience with farm animals such as alpacas, llamas, sheep, goats, and more. I am also experienced with positive reinforcement training and bird handling.

Clara was absolutely fantastic. I have a senior dog with special needs and she took wonderful care of him. She kept me posted with how he was doing and if there were issues I should be aware of. I felt very comfortable that my boy was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Clara to anyone and everyone.
Clara has stayed at my house and watched my dog, Mazey a few different times now. She is reliable, trustworthy, a good communicator, and my dog loves her! I have had a few dog sitters over the last couple years, and Clara has definitely been the one that I am most comfortable with. I can leave town and do what I need to do without worry when Mazey is under her care.
Clara stepped up while we were away which required a vet visit. She was very attentive and caring for Ollie. I had no doubt Clara was more than capable to care for our dog while we were away. She also did a great job taking care of the house. I would highly recommend Clara for any house sitting or pet sitting.

Clara saved me in an extremely stressful situation. She provided pictures and updates periodically, cleaned up after my pup, and made sure to take care of maples medicines, feedings, and health conditions. Clara was perfect and has helped ease my mind about being away from my puppy.

I recently began working part-time at a farm in Charlotte, doing primarily evening shifts (2p-7p) and sometimes mornings from (7:30a-2p). Even on days when I am working, I can typically spend at least half of the day with your pet to fit in walks, cuddles, and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety is always a priority. To create a safe and trustworthy environment for your animals I will listen to you closely about your pet's past and behavior. As someone with zoo/farm experience, I understand the importance of always being aware and attentive to both your pet's behavior and my own. Bonding and building a relationship with your pet so they feel secure and comfortable with me is another top priority!
A typical day
I am always open to having an outdoor adventure with your dog, whether a leisurely walk around town or something more high-energy. I'd love to incorporate the fun activities that your pets are already familiar with and learn what they enjoy! For the oldtimers, couch potatoes and scardey cats I am happy to supervise nap time and provide cuddles of course.
