Hi, I’m Clara! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny parrots to towering horses—and I’m confident handling everything in between. I have experience with: • Puppies and young dogs (training, socialization, and lots of patience!) • Caring for a dog with frequent seizures and special health needs • Working at a large dog rescue in Mexico, rehabilitating street dogs with behavioral and medical issues of all sizes • Administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions • Senior pet care with extra attention and gentleness (my dog is epileptic so I know how to administer all seizure meds and the full protocol) • Basic training and reinforcing good behavior • Horse care from years of working in barns (feeding, grooming, handling) • Volunteering for a year at a parrot rescue, learning about specialized bird care I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking energetic dogs for runs, hikes, or long walks—but I’m just as happy giving older or calmer pets plenty of snuggles. Safety, compassion, and keeping your pets happy are my top priorities, and I’ll always send plenty of photo updates while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.

Clara has been an animal enthusiast since she could walk and talk. She has had so many pets and taken her equestrian endeavors very seriously since pre-school. She has researched aspect of animal care and training since the time she could use a computer independently. Clara possesses a unique combination of stern authority and compassionate understanding. I have personally witnessed her journey and can attest to her abilities and confidence when dealing with any pet, domestic or exotic.
Clara is an active and dedicated animal lover. She takes loving care of all dogs as if they were her own. Great for long or short walks, meal time, medication management, and snuggles.

I’m currently completely open and very flexible with scheduling. I’m not working another job right now, so I can adjust to your pet’s exact needs—whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or last-minute bookings.
