Availability
I am on summer break right now in Dallas, so I have much more free time than usual! I’m in school during the year, usually in the mornings (barring the occasional afternoon extracurriculars or outside of class time) and can work around my class schedule to drop in or go for walks mornings/mid-mornings/afternoons/evenings and most weekends!

Safety, trust & environment
I enjoy walking and playing with dogs and entertaining cats as well! I grew up with both so understand the differences between cats and dogs and their needs.
Information Claire V. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs/considerations, any quirks or special preferences, or anything to watch out for around other animals. I will always do my very best to accommodate these!
A typical day
I think it’s important to let dogs sniff around and enjoy their walks even if it means a longer time outside! I am patient and happy to give them as much exercise as they need. Also love playing fetch or with toys, and happy to work on any training you might be trying to implement with your pet.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and family and have also had both as family pets growing up and currently. I don’t have my own pet so I’m excited to meet some pets I can hang out with here!
Reviews
Claire has taken care off our 5 year old bloodhound, 3 year old bengal cat and airedale terrier puppy. All three are very challenging breeds to work with, and Claire is very patient and consistent with each of them. She is very well-versed in the world of dogs since she grew up with great pyrs, aussies, goldens etc. My pets adore "aunty Claire" and the hound even cries with joy when he sees her! She is my pets' favorite sitter, and we actually prefer her care over our local kennel when we go on vacation. Highly recommend!
Claire was our cat-sitter for a little over a year and did a good job. She would drop in a couple times a day to make sure Fred was fed/watered and played with. We were happy with her work and hired her back until she moved.
Claire has cared for our 2 dogs on several occasions, either dropping in for walks or dog-sitting while we are at work or away. She also knew our older dog who passed a couple of years ago. Our dogs know her well at this point and like being with her. She is easy to reach and returns texts quickly. We have always felt that our dogs are well taken care of and they never seem anxious when we return. Would recommend her services to anyone.
Claire has walked our dog, Daisy, many times while we were at work. Daisy is a high energy breed who needs at least 2-3 walks a day so this was very helpful to get some of her energy out and play with her when we couldn’t. She has always been responsible, respectful, and replies to messages in a timely manner to facilitate organizing times that work for both of our schedules. We would recommend her to anyone needing some extra help with their pup!
