I've taken care of dogs, cats, fish and all other kinds of animals since I was eight. I have two family dogs that I took care of as puppies, midnight bathroom breaks and all, and a handful of fish. I have dealt with behavioral issues and am more than willing to work with you. I have experience in animal shelters and vet clinics and am able to administer medication whether oral, topical, or injected. I'm also able to care for senior animals. If you have any exotics, small animals, or fish I'm also thrilled to take care of them! I have lots of experience taking care of fish (freshwater, brackish, and saltwater) and am not squeamish about reptiles, amphibians, etc.

Getting to know pets and their needs on an individual basis is one of my favorite parts of animal care. Each animal has its own personality and little quirks that I like to take time to figure out! Cleanliness and organization is a must for me when caring for your animals, and I always like to have as much information as you can give me. Patience and compassion is one of the most important parts of pet care, especially for those that may be a little more difficult. I know that I worry about my pets when I'm away, especially since I'm at school, so I want to provide you as much peace of mind as I can that your fur baby is in safe hands.

Claire took such good care of my dog Derby. It was so nice to see him happy with tail wagging when I got home. Additionally, Claire was responsive and sent me pictures every day. The house was neat and clean too. I will definitely ask her to stay with my little guy again!
Claire took great care of our elderly dogs, even when one was having repeated accidents. House was clean and tidy when we came home. Will book her again!
Claire is so sweet with Molly, carefully, considering her needs as an older dog. I love getting the photos! Molly was very content when we arrived home.

Claire looked after our 14 year old chihuahua for two long weekends . She did an amazing job with Rufis who usually takes a while to warm up to people. She sent photos and left the house spotless. I highly recommend Claire and hope she will look after Ru again in the future.
Claire was amazing with our dogs. She was very compassionate and caring with our senior dog who was in poor health. Our younger German Shepherd just loved her. It was great to be able to leave town and know our babies were well taken care of. She stayed in our home so the dogs were comfortable and didn't have to have their routine disrupted. Definitely will use her again.

Schedule
I am a veterinary student at the University of Missouri, so I'm unable to accept high-energy/high need animals for weekday care. My schedule is somewhat similar to a standard 9-5 job, so dogs that are already accustomed to that are ideal.
