I'll tire your dog out
I'm an animal lover and substitute teacher trying to pay the bills. I absolutely love walking dogs and caring for cats. As a kid I would walk our family dog to a park a couple miles from our house every single day, so I'm very much prepared to tire your pooch out. I am meticulous when it comes to caring for animals because I want them to be as happy, comfortable and safe as possible. Since my early teens, I've done pet sitting and dog walking for various friends and neighbors, and for a long time I was volunteering at Shelter From the Storm regularly, so I have a fair amount of experience under my belt. Having graduated college, I've learned to manage my time well and make sure I stay on top of things, so you don't have to worry about me forgetting a dog walking/sitting appointment or being late (I also think it's cruel to let a doggie wait to go potty, so I wouldn't let that happen).

Claire is very nice and was easy to schedule with for a last minute trip out of town. She was communicative throughout and our pup loved her.
Claire was absolutely amazing checking in on my kitties while I was gone. She was very accommodating and communicative. I’m so happy I found her and will absolutely be booking with her again when I leave town!
Claire has a long term, extensive experience as an reliable pet sitter. She has watched our cats and dogs, and always gives them a lot of love and attention. She is clearly an animal lover at her core. Wholeheartedly recommended!

As a substitute teacher, I'm lucky enough to choose what hours I work each day - this means that I can schedule my work hours around what pet-care I decide to take on :)

As an animal lover, I take animal happiness and safety very seriously. Each and every pet is unique and has different needs; my favorite part of pet-care is getting to know each animal personally and giving them the care necessary to make them feel safe and loved.
Pets
A typical day
I like to take dogs to city parks and dog parks, as well as just around the city. I enjoy playing fetch, tug of war, and chase with them. Doggies can also expect healthy treats for good behavior.
