Reviews

Claire was fantastic! I was so nervous about leaving my dog that has a bit of separation anxiety for the first time and I don’t think he even realized we were gone. He easily adjusted to her place and Claire made the transition so easy. I was confident Claire would be the best one to take care of him because she is also a dog trainer and is very knowledgeable about all of the things. She even gave me some training and socialization tips to work on with him! She kept me updated about how he was doing the entire time we were gone so I had peace of mind. She is very flexible with drop off and pickup times. I plan on booking with her again!

Claire is very kind and easy to work with. I’m pretty sure my fur baby felt at home with his lengthy stay. Reasonable with her price too. I recommend her for anyone who’s in need of her service in the future.

I read Claire P. reviews before we made the home visit and hired her. She was hired to watch our two pups recently for four days. I am so confused as to why the reviews and home visit contradict our experience. She was asked specifically on the home visit if she would provide daily texts and/or videos, pictures of our pups. She replied 'yes every night.' We did not hear anything from her on day one. Again, nothing from her on day two until I inquired via text as to how our pups were. When she responded she sent two generic photos of them and stated my pup (by name) that eats everything ate nothing and my pup (by name) that's very finicky ate everything. I wrote her back and asked her if she was sure because it's usually the other way around. One of my pups is allergic to chicken and the other one lamb. As a pet parent this was scary, stressful and concerning because I did not know for sure if she mixed up the pups or their food. She messaged back that she got the names mixed up in her 'brain.' Days three and four we got no correspondence from Claire, no pictures, videos or text! I did not reach out to her again because I wanted to allow her the opportunity to do what she said she would and what she was hired to do without my coaxing. When we arrived to pick up our pups on day four in the evening within our allotted time, Claire came to the door and said 'hold on for a moment' and shut the door back. When she returned ten minutes or so later, she came out with our pups and their belongings. That was strange but we ignored it and asked her what happened with the lack of communication that she promised. She then explained that a big branch fell in her yard, that one client canceled and one extended their pets stay. When we expressed that we were not satisfied with her answer or her service, Claire ignored us by calling one of our pups to her. I personally don't like leaving negative reviews about businesses, however on this occasion I feel that I was left with no choice. Maybe if Claire P. was apologetic and showed she was sorry for the lack of communication and our concerns I would have not given a review at all. This kind of service is disappointing and unacceptable!

Claire is absolutely amazing! She is so flexible, understanding, and truly cares for every animal she watches. From the moment I met her, I could tell how much love and attention she gives to the pets in her care. She treated my dog like family and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s rare to find someone so dependable, compassionate, and accommodating. I highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely love and care for their pets like her own!
