Experienced dog mama & her spaniel
I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel who loves to play! She is amazing with other dogs of all ages. I owned a dogs growing up and often look after friend's dogs. I've looked after big dogs like Rottweilers and German shepards as well as smaller dogs and as long as they are friendly, all are welcome. I do have a toddler at home on Tuesdays, Fridays and weekends so child friendly dogs only. I work from home most days but generally in the office on a Monday and sometimes on Thursdays. I can walk dogs during the day when working from home and some evenings if necessary. I have a fenced garden and your dog would be able to come in and out with no problem. I'm not far from country park so big walks are possible as well as shorter routes.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Claire and her lovely family. They had our 4.5-month-old working cocker spaniel, Enzo, for five nights and took such fantastic care of him. From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease. Claire, her husband and their adorable 2.5-year-old embraced the full madness and energy of a young puppy! Enzo was walked multiple times each day, given loads of attention, and clearly treated as part of the family. Their beautiful 4-year-old working cocker spaniel, Annie, was the perfect companion. She kept Enzo on his toes, helped teach him a few tricks, and looked like she genuinely enjoyed having him around. We received regular updates and could see how happy and settled he was, which meant the world to us. Enzo came home tired, content and very well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Claire to anyone looking for a caring, experienced and genuinely lovely dog sitter. Thank you again for looking after our boy so brilliantly!

Claire was able to provide excellent care for our spaniel who is 12. We were reassured that he was being well cared for and we were updated on him each day. He enjoyed ot so much he did not want to come home! Thanks Claire!

Schedule
I work from home 3 days a week and I'm off on Tuesdays and Fridays so your dog will have lots of company. I can offer pre-work, lunchtime and post work walks on those days and adventures on days when I'm not working.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an enclosed garden and a stair gate if your dog if your dog is better in a restricted area. I have another dog for lots of play and company.

A typical day
My house goes directly onto green space. I've got fields close as well as my garden so plenty of space for walks and play. Country Park is close and for car friendly dogs we can sometimes go further away.
