Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I structure my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for. As a college student with a flexible routine, I have plenty of time and energy to give each pet the attention they deserve. Making sure animals feel safe, loved, and cared for is something I genuinely enjoy.

In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and their routines consistent: feeding times, walks, and play all stay familiar. I respect their space and your home, making sure everything stays clean and your pet feels safe. If you choose for me to sit in your home, here’s some things to know ahead of time: - I have dirt/dust allergies and will NOT stay in a dirty home! Please at minimum dust/vacuum before I take care of your pets. - If you choose to keep security cameras inside your home, please make me aware prior to my stay. - While some days I’m able to stay with your pets full time, others I might have to leave for a short period of time. I will always disclose these in our meet-and-greets/message you when they pop up! If you choose for me to sit in my home: - We live in a pet-friendly apartment complex! Our home is not large, but it is extremely clean with spaces for pets to roam and lounge. We have a good sized enclosed patio for pets who enjoy sunbathing, and the complex has a large residents-only dog park and tons of walking trails we enjoy using! - Our corgi, Apollo, may take some time to warm up to your pet. He is fairly low-energy and we will most likely leave him in his kennel to rest and observe your animal for a while!

I like to know as much as possible to give the best care! Things like their daily routine, energy level, favorite toys or treats, and any quirks or fears are super helpful. I also ask about health needs, such as medications, allergies, or mobility issues, and how they do around other animals or new people. The more I know upfront, the more comfortable and safe your pet will feel with me!
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor playtime to what they love most! For energetic pups, I’m all about walks, fetch, and tug-of-war. For more relaxed pets, we might hang out in the sun, enjoy gentle grooming, or cuddle during quiet time. I also love incorporating enrichment activities like puzzle toys, treat games, or even a little basic training to keep their minds active. My goal is always to make sure they feel happy, engaged, and loved while you’re away!

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and everything in between. I’ve done everything from daily walks and playtime to overnight stays and senior pet care. I’m reliable, patient, even-tempered, and treat every pet like family, because that’s what they are!

Claire did an amazing job with our dog and cat! I loved that she updated me with pictures while we were gone. I know they were truly loved while we were away! I would absolutely book with her again!
🚨Cat owners beware 🚨 I booked Claire to come and feed, provide water, and change litter to my two cats. Whenever I reached out to Claire after her visits, she assured me that my cats were doing fine and that there were no new updates. I was disappointed and heartbroken for my little babies when I returned home to find them with no food or water, maggots in the litter box, urine all over the litter mats and boxes, and several rugs totally destroyed. In the 8 years I have owned my cat pinky, this has never happened and she has never behaved in this way. It was clear that Claire had neglected our cats, which just bewilders me that someone who claims to love animals and works as a rover can be this negligent and cruel towards living animals. There were a total of 2 bags of litter in our trash, which we had left empty, for 2 litter boxes over a 6 visit period. It’s just not okay. This person clearly didn’t fulfill the service and continuously lied to me. I would never hire this person again and do not plan to ever use Rover again after this experience.
Claire’s calm demeanor was perfect for our anxious 9 year old rescue. She left our home clean and respected our specific wishes for our dog’s care. We will be using her again!
Claire did an outstanding job taking care of Mochi for two days in a row. She was incredibly professional, responsible, and attentive throughout the entire time. She kept me updated regularly, followed all instructions carefully, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Mochi and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust Claire with Mochi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.
