I work from home full time from 8am-4:30pm but have the ability to take breaks and an hour lunch. I am also fully available on weekends to help out with any sort of pet care or walks!

I would prefer to take care of pets in their own home. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own environment so I would make them feel safe by trying to play with them and be conscious about making them feel happy and loved. I would ensure they feel this way by petting them and spending time with them.

A preference of mine is just to know in advance any sort of special needs, medications, or any behavioral issues you pet might have. That way I can be properly prepared!
A typical day
If there’s a yard at the house I will play fetch with them or if there a rope I will play some tug of war. If there’s no yard, I will make sure to pet them and play with any sort of toys that they have. I will make sure they go on long walks and feel stimulated and happy.

Pet care experience
I have always been a dog lover my whole life and have been walking and taking care of my dogs since I was 8. I have been a dog and cat sitter/walker ever since I was around 16 and could drive to my family and friends homes to take care of their pets. I am very gentle and careful around all types of pet personalities and do a great job making them feel loved and comfortable around me. When walking dogs I never pull on them or rush them through the walk since it’s their time too and they deserve to have a fun time :)
