I've had cats my whole life, but now at age 50-something I find myself with a cat-shaped space. My last wonderful tabby was a rescue cat who lived with me for twelve years. Now he's gone I'm not quite ready to commit again, but can't live without cats in my life! I used to run a cafe with my husband, but since 2020 I have worked at London Zoo where I am an Animal Keeper Steward, currently looking after ten small monkeys. In addition for the last twelve years I have enjoyed a voluntary role at the Zoo, and there I indulge my passion for animals of all kinds and have learnt an enormous amount about handling and care. Your cat will always be my number one priority. I understand that particularly in anxious times some cats need more and some less, and I will do whatever I can to keep each one happy and relaxed according to its individual personality whilst you're away. I believe your cat will always be happiest on their own turf!
