Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in clients' homes, I follow their routines closely, ensuring a familiar and stress-free experience. I prioritize open communication, reliability, and trust, providing regular updates and following specific care instructions. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. Though I would love to bring your pets to my home, my dog is very shy due to his traumatic background. I would not want to put either of our pets in a situation where they would be uncomfortable.
Information Claire L. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any special needs of your dog ahead of time. This could include a special diet, allergies, behaviors, how they interact with other animals, etc. I know from having my own high maintenance pup how much goes into trusting your animal with someone new. I am here to learn every detail.
A typical day
I truly love doing whatever your pet likes best! I am so used to my lazy pup who likes to lay around at home that a change of pace is very welcome. I love going on walks or hikes with dogs as well as swimming with them and playing frisbee or fetch. I also love mentally stimulating pets through puzzles and play/lick mats. My dog enjoys going on long drives with his head out the window so this has quickly become one of my favorite activities as well. I am open to almost anything!

Your Pet's Second Best Friend
Pet care experience
Growing up with dogs, I've developed a deep understanding and love for pets. Now, I care for my own dog who has several health challenges, giving me hands-on experience with medical needs and senior care. When I adopted my current dog, he was five years old but had no name, no experience walking on a leash, and was severely abused in his first home. I trained him completely on my own into the most loving, cuddly dog. My unique skills in training puppies and managing senior pet care set me apart, ensuring your pet receives compassionate and expert attention.
Reviews

Claire was OUTSTANDING. She left detailed notes on each visit along with photos. She followed my instructions on the specific care each pup required and went above and beyond to help clean when my senior dog had accidents. I would highly recommend Claire and look forward to working with her again!

We love our Auntie Claire!! 🐾❤️🐾❤️
Claire L. cancelled a booking 4 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Let me start by saying my dog is NOT easy to hand over to people- he pulls on leash, has some reactivity to other dogs, and is certainly not the smallest dog in the world at 60lbs. All that being said- Claire was so wonderful with him. We had a meet and greet that went great and then when she came by to walk him while I was gone for the day she was very communicative, and it seemed like Meelo really took to her. I came home to a very relaxed and happy dog. I am looking forward to booking with Claire again in the future- thank you again Claire!
