I work 8 am-8 pm at a veterinary hospital Monday-Wednesday. Other than that, I got to church Sunday mornings. I’m free the rest of the time!

I want to fit into the animal’s life as an asset to their wellbeing, not as a stressor working against it. I read or listen carefully to instruction to make sure I am well equipped to go above and beyond in loving your pets. They will be my first priority during the time they are in my care, rest assured.

Please let me know if your dog has special preferences or needs that I can accommodate. Anything from "likes scratches under her chin", to "she is terrified of sneezes" (I grew up with a dog that had this fear), to "needs help getting up the stairs".
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks or runs! If there is a park near your house, I would be more than happy to spend a while there with your dogs. I also enjoy hanging out with your dogs, doing my daily tasks/homework while 'talking' with them and taking breaks to give them attention.

Pet care experience
I work at an ER and specialty medicine clinic so have truly seen it all with dogs of all ages. I work primarily on an internal medicine team and often pick up ER shifts. I have finished my first year of veterinary school and will continue to my second year in the fall, so have all sorts of knowledge about your dog(s)! I grew up with dogs, and have worked as a dog sitter/caretaker for years. My roles have ranged from daily care to basic grooming. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog in addition to overall basic care. Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones!

I can’t thank Claire enough for the amazing care she gave my three cats over the past 8 weeks! From the very first visit, it was clear how much she truly love animals. Each of my cats has their own personality, and Claire took the time to connect with all of them — even my shy one came out for cuddles every visit! Her updates and photos were such a comfort while I was away. I could tell the cats were happy, well-fed, and totally spoiled with attention. The litter boxes were completely changed many times and everything done exactly as I asked. It’s not easy to find someone you can completely trust with your pets, but Claire is that person. I came home to three relaxed, happy kitties — the best sign of all. I’m so grateful for the care and love she put into every visit and will absolutely book again. Highly recommend! 🐾💜🐾
