I worked in dog care and training in a professional capacity for several years and I now use those skills to help others’ dogs stay happy and healthy. I focus on basic obedience and energy management and I adore all pups, big and small. I love to create a structured but warm environment for the the dogs that I have the pleasure of working with. As a pet sitter, I incorporate visiting pups into the active lifestyle that my dog and I already enjoy - expect plenty of walks, hikes and park visits! My goal as a caretaker is to provide a loving, comfortable and engaging environment for all dogs.

Claire was the perfect home for Bella and we highly recommend her for your in her home pet sitting. She is very active so Bella had a lot of exercise and fun things to do. Morning and evening walks, visit to parks, and her interesting backyard gave her lots to explore and keep her busy. Claire has two dogs of her own which were very friendly and made good playmates. Because Claire works from home, there were not big chunks of time where Bella was left home alone. She kept us up to date with texts and photos. It was easy to see Bella was having fun. We will definitely use Claire again in the future.

I am 100% sure that there is not a better place for Maggie to be than with Claire. Maggie was waiting for me in the mornings to be ready to leave the house and go to day care with Claire and her dogs. Claire sent me pictures and video showing me what a good time Maggie was having. She even took Maggie for long walks. Claire has a very nice property that is perfect for dogs. I can't be happier that Claire can take care of Maggie.
We are so thankful to have found someone like Claire to watch our dog on our long work days! She gives updates and our dog gets lots of attention and care! Our dog also doesn’t want to leave and is excited when she arrives! All of those things, make us so happy!! We will continue to see Claire!

Schedule
I currently work full time from home and I am accepting pups for day care drop off, with the possibility to facilitate boarding once your pup is comfortable!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large yard with a 5ft fence and a large deck. We keep multiple water bowls filled indoors and outdoors and allow pups to spend time outside if the temperature is comfortable for them. Please let me know if your pup is adept at escaping yards.
Pets
A typical day
I am an avid hiker and your pup is welcome to join our pack on our daily 3 mile loop to upper deer creek lake on weekdays (these will happen later in the evening as summer rolls around) or longer hikes on weekends.
