Hello! This page is run by my husband, Chris, and myself. Both of us have had dogs our entire lives, with years of dog boarding experience. We want to take care for your beloved pets & spoil them like our own! We recently moved back to the Fayetteville area, now owning a house in a private community with a large, fenced-in yard. This yard was made for a dog to explore, with lots of squirrels to chase & birds to watch. There's plenty of space to run around, along with easy access to a 2 mile walking path around our neighborhood lake that we like to frequently walk. What we like to offer is a safe relaxed environment for your furry loved one to give you the peace of mind that your dog is being loved here just as much as they are at home. ABOUT OUR HOME: - Claire goes into the office 2 days/week & Chris is a stay-at-home dad - Multiple photos are sent every day!! We know you miss your pup 🥹 - If we have a dog staying with us, we try not to leave them home alone - and honestly, either Chris or I are home with our daughter most of the time (but we do occasionally both need to leave… because life 🤪) - Our home is a ranch with an unfinished basement. The basement is where our TV is located and we have sofas down there. If the dog is home alone, they will be allowed to roam the entirety of the basement (and sleep on the couch, etc. 🙂) - While we’re home, dogs stay with the adults - i.e if we’re upstairs eating dinner, dog is with us. If we’re downstairs (In basement) watching TV, dog is with us. If we’re sleeping, dog’s bed is with us in our room - We try not to allow dogs to sleep in our bed, but for the doggies that are respectful (and don’t know any other way 🙃), we do make an exception 😅 - We have a 4yr old in the home, she is very joyful with a disability. She is a wheelchair user. She loves when dogs gets the zoomies around her & giggles like crazy!! If dogs approach her, she does not hit nor pull on dogs. They usually kiss / sniff her & she lets them… until she gently pushes them away. From what we’ve seen, dogs are normally more interested in her than she is in them. Regardless, Vivian is never left unattended with dogs, safety is always a top priority. We do ask all dogs in our home are kid-friendly. You should also be warned that your dog will have first-dibs on dropped cheerios & goldfish!! 🙃 - Dogs are welcome on our furniture in the home - Dogs are not left unattended outside, even though we do have a fenced in back yard - We live in a small community in Fayetteville (off Sandy Creek Rd), and have a private 2mile loop to walk pups when they need to get some extra energy out 😅 - We do have a couple dog beds & dog toys that your dogs are welcome to snuggle with / on - Water is available to dogs at all times, we have bowls both upstairs & down - We do allow multiple dogs at once, after first confirming that the dogs would be compatible. If we do have multiple dogs, dogs are fed separate (to be on the safe side). We also have our own dog, a cavalier named Betty. She gets along with other dogs beautifully & enjoys the company 🥰 - WHY WE HAVE A SIZE LIMIT: on the 1st floor of our home we have very soft (beautiful!!) pine floors the previous owners installed. Larger dogs’ nails tend to scratch the floors a lot - which is why we have a 40lb limit 😬
