Claire can care for
Availability
I’m currently working a full time second shift job (1pm-11pm) so I have the mornings completely open to check on your babies. I’m also a night owl and have no problem doing a nighttime check after work or begin an overnight stay.

Safety, trust & environment
If you have a fenced yard, I will let them outside and let them do their business before tossing a ball or toy or running around with them to get the zoomies out. If no yard, then I will take them out on a leash for a walk then some playtime inside. Food and water will be checked and refilled; cuddles will be provided at will. :)
Information Claire J. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your baby has any special needs that I need to be aware of. I’m really good at walking slow for older dogs with short legs :) I can also give medications and supplements with a side of pets and cuddles.
A typical day
If we’re on a walk, I will stop as many times it’s needed for your dog to sniff every blade of grass if they want to. I love playing fetch (my fur baby is too old to be interested in playing much anymore) and I throw a ball or toy as long as they want.

Pet care experience
I’m 39 years old and there has been a pet in my life since I was 7. I’m an only child and my pets quickly became like siblings (we didn’t fight like them, promise). I became the primary caregiver for my mom’s two senior mini dachshunds a few years ago and was able to get them crate and pee-pad trained. One of them crossed the rainbow bridge sadly, but my other little old lady is doing well. I fall in love with every animal I see and I would love the chance to fall in love with yours.

Reviews
Claire has watched my cat for years! She had a key to my home and would stop by twice a day every day I was out of town to check on my kitty cat. In the AM she would provide dry food and in the PM wet food and clean the litter box. Claire would go above and beyond by checking mail and bringing in any packages that arrived. She even braved winter weather multiple times to make sure my cat was okay! Claire is always available and helped me feel comfortable to leave town if needed. I wish I didn’t move away because I sure miss having her help!
Claire has pet/house-sat for me many times and I’m always so pleased with her. She took care of my elderly cat while I was out of town for a month every winter for the last six years of my cat’s life and I was always thrilled with the experience. Claire coaxed my grumpy old lady out and made sure she received plenty of love. Claire has even watched my nervous dog that I let very few people care for. She managed my dog’s nervous tummy perfectly and was utterly trustworthy even though my dog is skittish on the leash. If you have animals that need care you can trust Claire to love them as if they were her own while they’re in her care.
