Hello, my name is Claire and I’ve cared for animals my whole life. Capable of looking after dogs, cats and other animals. As a child I was taught how to best provide care for our pets, cats and dogs. I would take responsibility for both and loved doing so. I’ve been consistently pet sitting for the last 3 years. I can work with young animals with lots of energy as well as older pets. I can administer medication and help with any additional needs. I have a 5 star rating on the Cat in a Flat app. I’m joining Rover as I would like to help care for dogs as well as cats. I have been a dog walker for neighbours over the last 5 years. I’ve just relocated to the Abbey Hill in Edinburgh and would love to build up a regular client base. Claire did a great job taking care of Belle. I received lots of updates, photos and videos. She went on plenty of walks and play time. Belle is a rescue dog and, although she has come a long way, she still has some fears, and Claire was patient with her and tried to help her feel comfortable when they arose.
Claire was absolutely fantastic looking after Millie at short notice when we booked a last minute holiday! She worked around Millie’s strict diet due to being diabetic and handled her insulin injections like a champ. Will definitely be booking with Claire again and would 100% recommend.

Schedule
I work from home and I am self employed. My hours are flexible and can suit whatever you need. I’m open to overnights and can attend on short notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I am very respectful and I like to give time for animals to get to know me, to see that they can trust me. Once your pet is at ease and happy with me I can offer as much love as they like. I also take care in the homes of others to ensure that things are left as I found them. I am clean and careful.
A typical day
Depending on the dog, I would have a chat with the owner about what they'd like in terms of care. I would usually take them for a long walk in a local green-space. Play some fetch and run about.
