NL: Ik heb van kinds af aan honden en katten gehad. In mijn volwassen leven heb ik het voorrecht gehad om 4 katten, twee honden, gerbils, hamsters en een egel te bezitten. We hebben momenteel geen honden, maar hebben een Duitse dog en een collie die in Zuid-Afrika wonen. EN:I have had dogs and cats since I was a child. In my adult life, I have had the privilege to own 4 cats, two dogs, gerbils, hamsters and a hedgehog. We dont have any dogs currently but have one Great Dane and a Collie that live in South Africa. NL: In december 2021 hebben we 3 weken lang een middelgrote hond genaamd Rufus gehost en het was een geweldige ervaring. We willen graag dezelfde service bieden en ons hart vervullen met harige knuffels. EN: In December 2021 we hosted a medium-sized dog named Rufus for 3 weeks and it was an amazing experience. We would love to offer the same service and fulfil our hearts with furry cuddles.

Onze oude lieve Schotse terriër; Max heeft het heerlijk gehad. Hij was duidelijk op zijn gemak en ontspannen. Dankzij de goede zorgen en de updates van Claire konden wij zorgeloos genieten van onze vakantie!
Clair and her family is wonderful. We had a very short notice with friends no longer being able to look after our dog. She was able to pick him up at our place, we were so grateful for it. Our dog, Shadow had a wonderful time. We got photos of walks and updates. I would 100% recommend them.
On our previous trip to visit my parents abroad we could not take along our dog but we could rest easilly that our dog was well cared for at Claire's. After an initial introduction before the holiday, he was at ease from the moment we dropped him off. During our time away we received updates including pictures and videos in which we could see he was being treated as part of the family. Complete with playtime, walks, and treats.

Schedule
NL:Ik ben een thuisblijfmoeder en ga zelden weg. We hebben een ontspannen thuisroutine met een 9- en 6-jarige. Uw pelsbaby's worden verzorgd alsof ze van ons zijn. EN: I am a stay-at-home mom and rarely go away. We have a relaxed home routine with a 9 and 6-year-old. Your fur babies will be cared for as if they are our own.

Safety, trust & environment
NL: We hebben een kleine afgesloten achtertuin. Uw hond mag alleen in het huis op de eerste verdieping verblijven. Er worden regelmatig wandelingen gemaakt (4 keer per dag). We wonen vlakbij een bosgebied met mooie wandelpaden. EN: We have a small closed backyard. Your dog can stay inside the house on the first floor only. Regular walks will be done (4 times a day). We live near a forest area with beautiful walking paths.

A typical day
NL: Onze familieochtenden zijn traag. Ik zal uw hond 's ochtends als eerste uitlaten voor frisse lucht en een toiletpauze (07:00 uur). Na het poetsen, knuffelen en lekkers maken we om 12.00 uur een lange wandeling rond het Kooisteebos. Na het dutje doen we een middagwandeling en toiletpauze (16:00). Dan is het eten en slapen voor de laatste wandeling van de dag (20:00) EN: Our family mornings are slow. I will take your dog out first thing in the morning for fresh air and a toilet break (07:00). After grooming, snuggles and treats, we'll take a long walk at (12:00) around the Kooisteebos. After naptime we'll take an afternoon walk and toilet break (16:00). Then it's dinner and nap time before the last walk of the day (20:00)
