My Apollo is 8 years old so he’s a lil bit of an old man and is typically pretty lazy, but I take him for lots of walks and spoil him with treats and luvins. I even tuck him in with a blanket every night.

I love to take the babies on walks around the block and throw the ball if that’s what they like! Tug of war is always a favorite. Of course they’ll get treats accordingly and lots of love unconditionally.

Dogs have always been a big part of my life, we’ve always had 4 legged fluff balls included in my family. I currently have a boxer/catahoula mix whose name is Apollo but I call him derp, he’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’ve only been dog/house sitting for about 3ish years as my friends and even regulars at the bar I work at have asked me to sit for them. My parents also work at hounds hideaway that has a vet built in so if anything were to happen all it would take is a phone call and we’d be set! Rest assured, your baby is in good hands.

Claire has assisted me with my beloved 45-lb crazy pup named Dubby throughout the length of his life. Dubby is now 7 years old, and can be a bit standoffish when it comes to new humans. Over the years, I have witnessed Claire inch her way into his heart, as sometimes that can deem an impossible task for most - but not for Claire! I am a firm believer that dogs have a phenomenal sense of intuition when it comes to humans, and because of this relationship, I have trusted Claire to dog sit for me over the weekends, take him on walks, etc, amidst my busy working schedule. She is efficient, communicates well and has always taken great care of Dubby throughout his life. I trust her more than I do boarding him, as I know he will receive optimal care in such trustworthy hands.
Claire is an extremely hard worker and loves animals of every kind. We trust her to watch our dog when we are out of town and she takes excellent care of him. Both her mom and I work in the pet industry, so we are around dogs and cats everyday and can say without hesitation that she will always keep what's best for the pet in mind. She would make an excellent Rover caregiver.
