Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I currently have an 8 -year-old pup of my own who keeps me on a pretty great daily routine of walks, fresh air, and lots of attention. I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, comfortable, and getting the exercise they need while you’re away. My dog and I go on multiple walks each day, and I bring that same level of care and structure to every dog I watch. Friends often trust me with their pets when they travel, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Because I’m a dog owner myself, I’m very mindful about keeping my home clean, organized, and free of anything dogs shouldn’t get into. I work from home full-time, which means I’m around throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. I’m based in Dallas and have a flexible schedule, including weekends. My goal is simple: make sure your dog feels happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Claire accepted our booking as a last minute request when my dad was facing a major medical event. I could tell Leia was immediately comfortable and loved being able to watch squirrels and sunbathe outside. I can’t wait to rebook!

Highly recommend Claire! She watched my pup for 10 days and I was so at ease with her being there. Alfie had tons of playtime with her dog, room to run in their backyard, walks, and lots of love! Claire sent me lots of updates and pictures. Will definitely book with her again, and you should too!
Claire was absolutely fantastic! She gave daily updates with pictures and videos and made our dog feel right at home. She made our senior dog comfortable during his stay and was very accommodating for his needs. Will definitely use Claire again and would recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which allows me to be around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and walks. I also make sure to dedicate time in the mornings and evenings for longer walks and play so pups get the exercise they need. My schedule is flexible, and I’m often available on weekends as well.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a safe, walkable neighborhood in Lower Greenville that’s great for daily walks, with lots of other dogs and families in the area. Our home also has a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. I’m very mindful about keeping the environment secure and dog-friendly, and because I work from home I’m able to supervise throughout the day. My goal is to create a calm, safe space where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed while they’re staying with us.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a morning potty break and walk to get everyone moving. Since I work from home, dogs get plenty of attention throughout the day, including outdoor breaks and time in the yard. I love taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks so they can get exercise and explore. In the afternoon we usually spend some time playing in the backyard; many dogs love chasing a frisbee or just running around. Evenings include another walk, dinner, and relaxing time inside so pups can wind down and feel at home.
