Home experience for parental stress free breaks!
I’ve had pets throughout my life and for years have had my faithful friend by my side. As a responsible owner it’s only right to make sure your best friend is looked after properly when you’re away. I provide a home from home experience lots of love and cuddles and/ or space to hide and sleep if needed. I’m proficient in giving care to dogs with Diabetes so if your best friend needs that extra little bit of care rest assured they’ll be well looked after.

It was Cara's first night away from me, and I could not have wished for a better person to care for her! Claire was lovely with Cara, and also very capable and reassuring, which was exactly what I needed! A lovely addition was how well Cara and Claire's dog Gizmo got on, and the photos of them both on the bed together made me smile. I feel fortunate to have found Claire.
Thank you Claire, Andy, Toby and Gizmo for taking such good care of my little old fur baby . He was very well cared for and given plenty of care and attention with lovely walks and sniffs. We are very happy to have found you 🥰
Absolutely spot on. Claire filled me with confidence right from the start and then kept me up to date throughout the stay with pictures and messages. My dog had a great time and was well cared for would definitely use again :)
We had an initial ‘meet and greet’ with Claire in a park where we had a lovely walk and Teddy met her dog Gizmo. Following that she looked after Teddy for the day for us and I felt totally confident that he was in good hands. Claire clearly loves dogs and is very knowledgeable about them. She was keen to understand what Teddy likes and needs as a young dog. She also uploaded photos during the day to reassure me that Teddy was happy and doing well, which was great.
My dog Bubble had the best time staying with Claire for 6 days. When you meet Claire for the first time, she is so warm and welcoming and makes you feel immediately at ease. I knew that Bubble would be safe and happy in her care. Claire kept me updated several times a day with photos of Bubble having fun on her walks and snuggling up on the bed with Claire's own dog, Gizmo. She was so at home there that I doubted she would want to leave! I had complete peace of mind whilst away working that Bubble was happy with Claire and her family. Thank you so much. We can't wait to use your services again!

Schedule
I provide walking and drop in visits as well as boarding and am happy to provide long term care during holidays. I’m used to looking after diabetic dogs too so if you’re feeling anxious about leaving your dog, I get it and I can help. Message with your requirements.

Safety, trust & environment
I have fenced gardens front and back and live right next to the grand union canal, a dog walkers dream. I let my dog have the run of our house! He’s free to sit on the sofa and sleep on our bed and any visitor will be allowed and expected to do the same! A house is not a home without a pooch nearby and sofas are made for sitting on!
Pets
A typical day
I love to take my dog on adventures and have lots of fields, woods and parks nearby. Living next to a canal means there’s lots of stimulation, smells and sounds and ducks to chase and explore! If your dog is diabetic we will discuss your routine in depth and ensure it’s strictly adhered to. Because of the complexity of diabetes I do charge extra if your dog is diabetic , I’m happy to discuss this but I’m sure you’ll understand why!
