Pet care experience

Happy Walks, Happy Dogs!

What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the lifelong connection I’ve had with dogs. I grew up with dogs in the house, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. Throughout middle school and high school, I spent my free time dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and family — building experience, trust, and a deep understanding of different breeds and personalities. I don’t just watch dogs; I bond with them, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Now, I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach here at CMU and love to stay active, during my breaks at work, getting outside for some exercise with a furry friend is just what I need!

Claire did an excellent job with our very large pup (who is still working on his manners). She communicated with us clearly and everything went very smoothly. Pup was tired and content. We would happily book her again anytime.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

With a flexible job, I have the freedom to shape my days — and pet care is the perfect addition to my routine. Spending time with dogs gives me a refreshing break from screen time and brings joy, movement, and variety into my day. Whether it's a morning walk, midday visit, or weekend pet sitting, it adds a sense of purpose and balance to my schedule. Caring for animals isn’t just something I enjoy — it’s something that genuinely improves my day, and I love being able to give pets the attention and care they deserve.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priority is making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar environment. I follow all routines closely — from feeding schedules and walk times to any special instructions or quirks your pet may have. I take the time to bond with each pet, giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and calm companionship. I also make sure your home stays clean and secure while you're away, so you can relax knowing both your pet and your space are in good hands.

before watching a client’s pet, it’s important to know their daily routine (feeding times, walks, play, and bedtime), diet details, and any medications or health issues. Ask about their behavior, temperament, fears, and triggers, as well as rules for the house and training commands they follow
