Experienced and caring pet sitter!
Hi! My name is Claire, and caring for animals has always been one of the biggest parts of my life. I’ve volunteered and worked in animal rescue for years and have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m especially experienced with senior pets, anxiety-prone animals, and special-needs dogs, including my own recently adopted blind senior pup. I share my home with three rescue pets (and my boyfriend): • A 3-year-old hound mix • A 5-year-old rescue cat • A blind senior chihuahua mix I work a 9-5 in manhattan, but I have a hybrid work schedule and am available most weekends for pet sitting! I know firsthand how stressful it can feel to trust someone new with your pets. I’ve been there! That’s why I prioritize communication, reliability, and customization. I follow your pet’s routine exactly, respect any rules or preferences you have, and send plenty of photos and videos so you always feel connected and reassured. I’d love the chance to care for your pets and give them the safe, loving experience they deserve. I hope to meet you and your fur babies soon!

I take my dog on lots of hikes on the local hiking trails, which he loves and can take your dog there too if you want! If you’re more comfortable with them just getting a simple walk around your neighborhood, I’m happy to accommodate that as well!

Claire is amazing. She kept in touch throughout our weekend away, sending photos of Noodle and keeping us updated on what they were doing. She spent a lot of time with Noodle, taking her for walks and playing with her. Noodle loves her. Claire is very professional and you can tell she loves dogs. Don't hesitate to book her. She's great. We will definitely use her whenever we need a sitter for Noodle.
Claire was awesome, she really took her time with Whiskey and was so pleasant. He got a great walk every night and she took great care while going in and out if my home, ensuring it was secure every time she left. She was extremely communicative and let me know how the walks went, frequently sending some pictures. Would book again!
Claire is a very responsible and honest dog lover! She’s grown up with dogs and has always been patient, kind and caring towards them. One of her favorite activities while dog sitting is long walks around the neighborhood!
Claire is the most trustworthy person for animal care that I know. She is loving and caring with my 3 cats And 1 dog and is very responsible with all of our needs of our cats and dog. She is kind respectful and loving toward us and our animals.

She has a natural caring way that is wired into her personality and when she is extra responsible when it comes to her job performance and making sure she not only meets the needs of our dogs but meets our needs as well. Schedule
AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS! ( and most weeknights) I work a hybrid work schedule and am mostly working remote from home so I am available my work from home days as well!!

- Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I have experience administering medications and with both extremely high energy and low energy dogs with special needs and I will accommodate to your dogs energy level and medical and behavioral needs! I am professionally trained in using safe gear like harnesses and prong collars.
