I am a child therapist with most of my hours being in the late afternoon/evening so I have ample time at home. My husband who is also a dog lover gets home in the 5 o’clock hour while I’m gone to continue the love and care. This makes it easy and flexible for me to provide care for your dog.

I am home for long chunks of the day while your dog is in my care, we will be able to go on long walks and have lots of play time. I have several spare bedrooms so they can choose where they want to sleep, whether alone or with me!

Please let me know if your dog has any specific behaviors or preferences so I can accommodate to them. Especially if they have any limitations to how long their walks can be.
A typical day
Fort McHenry is nearby and so fun to explore! We can go for long walks in the neighborhood and in parks nearby. If they prefer shorter walks that is fine too! I would ensure your dog is always safely secured in their leash at all times when walking outside. I love playing with dogs inside too and just interacting with them and including them in whatever I’m doing around the house.

Pet care experience
For pre-school career day, I brought a leash and said I would be a dog walker when I grew up. I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and cousins. I have also nannied in households with dogs that I would be responsible for. I love volunteering for BARCS and participating in Dogs Day Out. I am a therapist with flexible hours so being able to board and walk dogs is so fun for me!!! I do not work until the afternoon and my husband gets home in the early evening so our visiting dogs are only ever home for a 2-3 hour window during the week. He is also a dog love and loves to do PM duty with walks and dinner. I will provide much attention to your dog because I will be so excited to spend time with them. I can’t commit yet to getting a dog of my own so I am so happy to have visitors they will be treated with so much love, care, and attention!
Reviews

This was the third time Claire watched Milo and she did a great job taking care of him as always. Unfortunately, Milo was sick while staying there, but Claire was a great caregiver and was very communicative throughout. We would definitely leave Milo with Claire again.

Claire took great care of our dog Ryder! He has pretty bad separation anxiety, and she was able to stay with him basically the entire weekend which put our minds at ease knowing he wasn't in distress. She took him on lots of walks, played with him, and even brought him with her when she would leave the house. We really appreciated everything she did for him!

Another great service by Claire! I felt comfortable leaving Brew in her care again. She’s very communicative and gave Brew plenty of attention. 100% recommend!

Claire was awesome! Very communicative and flexible with our requests for drop off and pick up. Thanks for watching Brew!
