Genuine animal lover
I have loved animals and have grown up with animals my whole life. I’ve always had multiple animals, cats and dogs at the same time. I have had the experiences of growing up with two cats with very large personalities, a puppy to 3 year old newfoundland, and a very anxious, attention needing senior golden retriever (also deathly afraid of thunderstorms/rain and any loud noise ever). All have had an array of medical problems ranging from diabetes, kidney issues, torn acl/ligaments, arthritis, etc. I also have also always been considered my whole extended family’s dog sitter! I have been trusted by many family members and friends with their animals for feeding, walking/exercising, bathing/brushing, etc. I haven’t met an animal I have not been able to form a friendship with!

Claire is a true cat whisperer! This was our first time leaving our cat with a sitter, and we’re so glad we found Claire. She met with us (and Freya! 🐾) in advance, kept us updated while we were away, left the apartment nice and clean, and was extremely helpful and flexible when my flight home was delayed. Would definitely work with her again!
Claire took great care of my 2 cats and left the house clean and in good shape. She is obviously a pet lover and a personable caregiver. I would heartily recommend Claire for future house/petsitting opportunities.

We've now used Claire twice to watch our house and take care of our two dogs and cat. She is easy to communicate with, does a great job with the animals, and leaves the house clean and tidy. Very happy working with her.
We had a great experience with Claire! She took wonderful care of our dogs and even helped with our chickens while we were away. We loved receiving picture updates and could tell the dogs were happy and comfortable the whole time. She also left our house clean and tidy. Our pets were clearly well cared for, and we already plan to book with her again in the future. Highly recommend!

I’m currently a college student on summer break with reliable transportation in Northbridge. I am available for sitting the entire week and I am always available for quick stop by for a walk/play session! I also am available for weekend stays.

Safety, trust & environment
I can follow any precautions/instructions to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe! I am familiar with pets that use crating, electric fencing, or have anxiety, anything else you might need to take extra measures for the comfort of your pet! I can be attentive to dietary needs, preferred activities and each individual dog's comfort level around strangers. If your pet has specific needs, you can trust that I will be able to learn everything I need to know to take the best possible care of your pet.
A typical day
I try and make each hang out fun for every pet. For dogs: We can go on long walks where they sniff as much as they’d like sniff as much as they’d like to, play games/run around, go on drives, take naps, or just cuddle and hang out! We can also do any extra activities/exercises you would like to include or that your dog likes:) For cats: Your cat and I can bird watch, cuddle, nap, go on walks, play games/with toys, and any extra activities you would like to add. I will closely follow any instructions or advice you leave for me, and focus my attention to whatever your pet's needs are. If you have a high-energy pet, I will happily take them on a hike/to the park and make sure they stay safe and have fun while doing so. For pets that are more shy, I have no problem giving them their space and just hanging out.
