I work part time and sometimes from home so have full days available to care for your pet, although I m go into the office tues/weds so full weeks of care are difficult unless they are ok to be left for the day with lunchtime visit

I have no other pets of my own so your animal will not have to worry. I have a private fenced garden and live just a few minutes walk from the beach I have a recent clear DBS check and many positive reviews and am happy to housesit in your home if your pets are happier in the comfort of their own space

I like to know if your dog has any traits I should know about. Any breeds they don’t like? What’s their favourite treat? Are they good off the lead? Im happier to keep dogs on lead unless they have a very good recall or have been taken to a safe place away from cars. I know even the best behaved dogs can see something they like to chase from time to time!
Un día normal
Typically I start the day with a walk through the park down to the beach, there’s lots of sniffs to do on the way there and the sand is great for zoomies when the tide is out. Sometimes we can hop in the van to go to the woods or up the hill for a longer walk if that’s what your dog likes. At home we can play tuggy, play ball in the garden or maybe just snuggle on the sofa.

I’m active and outdoorsy and have always loved animals although sadly we said goodbye to my beloved dog, Tilly, in 2023. This means I can give your pet my undivided attention in my garden flat or in the familiar comfort of your home. Tilly was a Mini Schnauzer, my best friend who I trained and competed in Agility with. We travelled to competitions around the country and got to grade 7, the highest level, before she retired to a life of walkies and cuddles. We sadly lost her early in 2023 at the age of 16. I’ve made the decision not to get another dog of my own right now but have a lot of love to offer so im here to meet some dogs who would like country walks, cuddles and care while their owners are away. I will only accept bookings from one family for boarding or walks (unless they are already friends) I have a recent clear DBS check and a history of positive reviews so you can be confident in your pet receiving the best care. I’m happy to arrange a meet and greet prior to bookings so we can all say hello and chat over any particular care needs or quirks of your dogs behaviour.

We booked Maple in for an overnight stay with Claire at very short notice. Claire was very accommodating and allowed us to do a short visit with Maple ahead of her stay so Maple could have a sniff around and be more comfortable in her surroundings. Maple was clearly thrilled- rolling around and making sure Claire received a good face wash. Claire sent us regular pupdates and pics, and arranging drop off and pick-up times was easy and clear. We felt we'd left Maple in a very safe pair of hands. Maple obviously had a brilliant time on her adventures with Claire and we'd happily book her in for a stay or daycare again (though maybe with a bit more notice next time...) Thank you, Claire!

Claire looked after Scout and Matilda for a weekend in my home. She kept in touch regularly, with lots of photos. The doggies had regular walks and lots of cuddles and looked relaxed and happy. Everything was smooth and problem-free and I would not hesitate to have Claire come and stay again!
Bertie had a lovely day with Claire! Claire arrived on time, kept me informed by text during the day as it was his first sitting. He had a nice walk and was very relaxed and happy all day. He took to Claire immediately; she is experienced with the breed and confident and assured with dogs. She is a helpful lovely person too and Bertie and I would love her to come again!
