Nice home, garden, country walks
I’ve had dogs all my life, sadly my most recent ones, Peggy the sausage and Ted the sprocker have both passed on in the last year. My kids are grown up now and I don’t want to commit just yet to getting another dog of my own so I’d be very happy to babysit other people’s furry friends! I live up a lane with access to lovely countryside walks, and also have a good sized garden for a bit of a run around. I have a soft spot for dachshunds so would love to have some little sausages staying over. I have experience of managing them carefully to protect their back. I’m not doing this as a money making exercise (although the extra cash is always handy) I just like having a dog around!

Coco had a great morning with Claire. We received regular updates, and after meeting Claire at drop off, we were assured that our dog would be well looked after.
Claire was fantastic with Paddy. She kept us updated with photos while we were away, which was really reassuring, and it was clear our puppy was happy and well looked after. We came home to a very content pup and would happily book with Claire again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home mostly through the week so have good availability for day sitting. My office is downstairs and the house is open plan with access to the garden to be able to potter in and out. Weekends are pretty chill. I live near local countryside so lots of opportunity for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is spacious, clean and hazard free. It’s mostly me here with my grown up son in and out around his work so it’s calm and chilled and would suit most dogs. Sometimes my daughter is back from uni and she LOVES dogs so she’s always good for a play or a walk. My garden is a good size and is fully enclosed with a big area of grass to run around. Happy to have dogs over for day care, or overnight.
