Howth dog lover - flexible schedule
I’ve cared for dogs big and small since I was in high school, including the dogs of many families I nannied for over the years. That means I’m used to stepping into someone else’s home and routine and getting it right: knowing where things go, sticking to feeding and walk schedules, and treating both the pet and the space with real care. I’m based in Howth with a flexible schedule that keeps me home most of the day, so your dog won’t be left alone for long. I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment, which means your pet gets my full attention, and I get to fulfil my animal serotonin fix by looking after them as if they were my own. Whether it’s a young pup who needs patience and a bit of training or a senior who needs a gentle, watchful eye, I’ll treat them like family.

Claire was communicative and she took very good care of my puppy! She was also very helpful and flexible with dropping him off and picking him up.
Claire was amazing with my boy! She was attentive and communicative, which made me feel at ease leaving him in her hands for the weekend. She made sure to show me her space where Charley would staying and made sure to stick to his routine and feeding schedule, which helped a ton. I appreciated her check-ins when she had questions about Charley. Would absolutely book with Claire again!

Schedule
I’m currently between full time work that is pretty slow in the summer, as well as a pretty free weekend schedule, so I’m interested in helping pet owners as much as I can this summer and beyond.

I can care for your pets in your home just as you would if you were there, tending to their personalized needs and routines. As for jobs where your pet would be coming to my home, I live in a townhouse with two levels, giving ample space in non-bedroom living quarters for your pets. I also have a fenced in yard in front of my building for play, as well as close proximity to parks and the beach for walks and exercise! I have experience in managing all different types of dog personalities, and can promise dedication to your guidelines and routines for your pet.
A typical day
I love to play and get your dogs exercise while getting myself some. I absolutely love walking in my beautiful little residential neighborhood, going to parks, walking to the beach, and have a few secret walk spots that dogs love.
