Experienced, calm & very reliable
Hi I'm Claire, and I have been with Cat in a Flat since 2017. I’ve built up great relationships with my lovely clients and their brilliant cats! I'm a playwright and I also work part time as an Archivist at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine....and I cannot imagine life without cats! I have owned, known and adored many cats, some timid, some bold and all magnificent individuals. I am extremely reliable, calm and organised, and a dab hand at plant watering. On the practical side I'm used to giving asthma inhaler medication, eye drops, tablets etc. but not injections. If your cat's chatty, we'll have a good old chat, if a little nervous, then some gentle kindness. Grooming? Of course! Games? Yes!!! Quiet sofa companionship? Absolutely. Fyi please note that I charge a flat fee for visits, regardless of the number of cats you have ( within reason!)

Claire was absolutely fantastic cat sitting for our two cats, Pim and Lola. We loved getting all the photos while on our holiday and seeing how well looked-after our cats were :) She even brought her own string, which we’ve now had to purchase ourselves because our cats loved playing with it so much! Would definitely have her again. Thank you Claire!!
This was my first time using the platform and it couldn’t have gone better because of Claire. She has been absolutely fantastic. I got super updates each day and could see how contented my cat was. Claire’s communication has been fast, responsive and I will absolutely use Claire again!

Claire is always amazing, but this was next level cat-sitting. We've just started a renovation and our cat is dealing with an upside down house, builders and lots of noise, let alone us not being there. We were only able to go away during the madness knowing that Claire would be looking after MrP. He was a very happy settled boy when we returned!
