Animal-loving grad student!
I grew up surrounded by animals and my entire family adores them! My mother currently owns 4 dogs and 2 cats, and my father owns 4 dogs, 1 cat, and several donkeys 😂. I have 1 cat right now, my sweet toothless elderly rescue cat Rosie. I can't have dogs in my current place, but I miss them and love taking care of them! I've dog-sat for various friends and family for most of my twenties and have experience in giving shots and oral medication. I'm familiar with crate training, leash handling, and poop scooping. I've cared for all sizes of dogs, from Shih-Tzus to Great Pyrenees. I would absolutely love the chance to take care of your dog(s) and shower them with love and affection!

Safety, trust & environment
I live close to a big open park, with plenty of space for dog walks/runs and games of fetch. My home has comfy couches for naps and I am open to pets sleeping in my bed. If I'm caring for animals in your home, I'm happy to administer as many pets and cuddles as needed for any size pet. I'll follow whatever instructions you give and make them feel safe and cared for.

Claire house sat and took great care of my two dogs when I was out of town. Provided a lot of pictures and updates which I greatly appreciated! My apartment also felt just as clean as I left it. I would definitely rebook with Claire for future pet sitting.
Claire provided regular updates of play and walks and feeding schedules for our dog and cat while we were away for a long weekend. Would recommend and will definitely book again!
Claire was super helpful with taking Buttercup on walks with fairly short notice when our usual walkers were away. She’s clearly a dog lover and gave butter lots of attention when she came to meet us. She communicated well and worked through a situation in which our daughter forget to put out the keys for her, with everything working out just fine :). We’d be happy to use her again in the future!
Claire is super! She is very accommodating and patient with my anxious beagle. She carefully listened to all instructions and took really great care of my dog. I would definitely recommend her and use her again! Thanks again Claire!!

Schedule
I work during the day but have plenty of time for dog walks during lunch. My mornings and evenings are free for walks and drop-in visits. I can board 2 small dogs or one bigger dog in my home.
